@julesbera and lioness, did you guys actually TRY to pull the beds apart? Because another posted above you said their beds were apart…..
thanks!
-
OK, this is why I am so confused.. Some people at RC say it can- others say it can't. THen some of you say it can- others say it can't…
Does anyone know if they have roll away beds?
-
ok, thanks. We called RC and they say no ( but they are saying no on BOTH ships) so I guess they are wrong!
Do you have any idea if they can begin another lounge chair into the quite if you have 3 people in there?
Finally, how was your balcony? were any of the other loft suite balconies bigger than yours on the side facing the ocean?

We have suite 1744 (Crown Loft Suite) on Allure…..DO you know if the UPSTAIRS bed pulls apart ????
-
great! My travel agent is talking to them now and RC is insisting that they do not pull apart…….Wonder what the confusion is?
-
Thanks! Does anyone know about Allure?
-
Just booked a crown loft suite on Allure of the seas…travel agent said beds could be pulled apart in the upstairs bedroom….I just called RC and they said it cannot> Other websites say the beds can be pulled apart. Has anyone ever been in a Crown Loft Suite on Allure that would know for sure if they can be pulled apart?
Thanks!

We received an email from Genaldi ( whatever his name is) and it contained the "ticket: we need to get off the sip in Russia. It was just a one page paper that had our names, our ship, the dates we would be in Russia, and the name of the tour company. Is that really all we need to get off the ship??

awesome thanks. We are going to use him. He sounds great and was quick to respond.

SO as this other person the link at the bottom of your post?Gennadiy Chentsov?
Was he good? There will only be 2 of us- do you think it makes any difference which we use???

Scubacruiser, what company did you use in St. Petersburg? And did you like him?

Dubrovnik Lady,
We were there about 5 years ago and there was a place where you could take about an hour boat ride around a little island. We had the boat to ourselves and it was wonderful. Do you know if those guys are still there giving boat rides? Thank you!

Our group of 8 just got back from the Celebrity Equinox. We had a 2 day tour with Ramses and were thrilled. My father had used them a year ago and recommended them to me.
Our driver was Mohammed and he was the most incredibly skilled (and SAFE) driver I have ever seen. As others have mentioned, the driving in Cairo is the most frightening I have ever experienced. There were several times when pedestrians would cross the street right in front of speeding cars and narrowly escape being hit. The drive ended up taking about 3 1/2 hours so be prepared.
Our guide was Islam Said. To say he was amazing is an understatement. After using at least 20 different private guides on various cruises, I can honestly say he is the best we have ever had. His English was almost perfect- he actually understood our nuances, idioms and humor. He was extremely knowledgeable, flexible, accommodating and charming. I highly recommend that you ask for him specifically. You will not be disappointed. Just for fun, I searched this thread and 4 other people had posted comments about Islam- all 4 were very positive, too.
Our ship did not get in to the port until 11AM, yet we never missed a thing. After seeing the Mosque and spending a few hours at the Museum, we ended up with a sunset felucca ride. It was amazing. He got to the Mena House about 8PM and had dinner at the Moghul Room, which was very good.
The next day we started at 8AM and went to the Pyramids at Giza, then to Memphis, Sakkara, and finally to lunch at an Egyptian Restaurant in Giza. It was great, even though we were afriad of getting sick ( but none of us did). We ended up back in Alexandria to see the library and were back on the ship by 7:00 PM.
I highly recommend Ramses and more specifically, Islam. Any tour company is only as good as its guides. If you can get him you will not be disappointed. Ramses did a great job of communicating prior to the cruise and even followed up the day after our trip to make certain we were satisfied. They promised us a trip of a lifetime in Cairo and they delivered.

I tried to get on the raft trip but it is full! So we will try when we get on board. Were there any other things the teenage kids really liked in any of the ports?
-
Can you tell us anything about the ports? What did you do in Viog, Cadiz, Cannes, Lisbon, and Cagliari? We are travelling with 4 teenage boys next week on Indy. Any suggestions?
HELP! Can you pull the beds apart in a Crown Loft Suite?

this is what I was afraid of! I booked this suite for 3 women who do not like sleeping in a bed with someone else( unless it's our husbands- but they can't go!). the RC rep said we could pull the beds apart. Now after final payment has been made, i hear you can't pull them apart. $10,000 ayer, I am dreading this.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Can they bring in a roll away bed.
