We booked on the pre-inaugural sailing on Ovation of the seas and decided for the Gty balcony because there wasn't much price difference with oceanview. We were assigned a Spa Junior Suite and were delighted!!! It was beautiful!

My husband and I are looking to book an Asia cruise for February 2017.

I just saw on the Princess website that from May 27 to May 31 they are having up to 2000 pounds savings on flights if booked with the cruise.

I checked the flights for the one we want to go on and it comes to under 500 pounds for return flights for both of us. (Manchester-Singapore-Manchester)

Booking an interior cabin with the flights comes to below 1450 pounds per person, for a 15 night cruise.

I'm tempted to book and it's definitely cheaper than doing it with travel agents. I don't know though if that's a great price for that cruise in that ship or not since we have never cruised on Princess.

Any comment would be appreciated.

I'm considering doing it because of the huge difference between the USD and GBP prices. I can basically get a balcony if paying in USD for the equivalent in GBP that I'd pay for an interior! It's just ridiculous!

Some of these websites offer OBC, even after I put I'm in the UK, but the terms of the offer say it's only for US/Canada residents (at least in one of them). Did you get the OBC advertised or just the savings from the currency difference?

You must be coming back now from your cruise and I would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know how it went, did you have any issues when boarding? Did you get your boarding passes and tags before boarding?
