actually if you read carnivals its "interesting" you are giving them permission to record anything you do BUT in the next section it expressly forbids you to record any of their employees or anything showing any part of the ship. I know its really not enforced but it is in there.

It doesn't matter why they booked as they did...yes.. you can swap once onboard, and get the correct keys for each person in the cabin. It's done ALL the time.

and all cruise lines work the same, a quick trip to guest services ( helps to have it all laid out on paper for them ) and they will change it.

never did understand why its the rule of someone under 21 must be in a cabin with someone over 21 BUT on the ship you can put anyone with anyone. maybe an insurance thing at booking?

Is RCL allowed to video you on flowrider without permission and then play it for whole cruise to see

you already GAVE total permission, read the cruise agreement, you give royal and its associates full permission to record photograph and use it in any way without any financial remuneration. just assume you're being recorded at all times, which with the advanced security systems on board, you usually are :P

I booked an NCL Cruise @ 10 PM Thursday night for Fridays sailing.

 

I was @ the dock 12 hr's after booking.

did you save $$ by doing that or was it about the same as a few weeks out?

I just turned 18 and I'm going on a cruise later this year. I want to meet some people my own age to hang with. What should I do?

sports deck and arcade, really quick to meet others, in fact its really hard NOT to meet new friends on a cruise.

drink more than a few a day ( easy to do ) then the drink package is good value

I'm thinking not too many assuming the cruise starts more towards new years eve and not ends around new years eve

took me a while to find the machines as they are kinda hidden flush with a wall. offered vanilla, chocolates or mixed and was free

so close we ended up talking with our neighbouring tables

1st halloween cruise coming up, i know there is a costume party but does everyone usually get into the spirit of it? what other things do they do? just trying to plan and be prepared.

you can always try a couple of days before see if its assigned. or give them a call

dont do what we did and book for early on embarkation day.. our bags had not arrived at that point and they wouldn't let us in unless we were nicely ( shirt and slacks) dressed.

it was a learning experiance as we never thought of that when we booked :)

i think its a balance of not too small that you get bored and have done everything but not too big that it becomes impersonal

yes but the quality of the internet varies so much depending where the ship is as they use a microwave ( line of sight) link to land, if your close to land its pretty good, if there is an island in the way it will suck.

rent one of the golf cart electric cars then you can explore at will, stop where you want and visit places, thats what I did and fully enjoyed the freedom

they want you to start teaching your kids how to tip at the same time you teach them to speak :)
