Hot tub temp about 96. Leaving Juneau outside temp about 43. We have seen about seven or so other people at Vibe this week. We’ve been enjoying our private bar service cookies, fruit kebabs, drinks, and even choice of cabanas. Amazing service from our wonderful bartenders Benedict and Gda. Definitely worth the $ for us. Even if we don’t use it everyday. We got super lucky with the weather and it was 62 at sail away from Seattle. We’ve had mostly all sun dayys with more scheduled the rest of the week! ❤️

Nice to know the hot tubs are hot! People always complain they are lukewarm.

Just off the Sky in February. Our favorite spot was Bellini’s, listen to music in Piazza, grab a snack from International Cafe. In buffet around 3 pm everyday the afternoon tea sandwiches and scones show up, get some goodies, your tea and a table with a view. The Rock Opera was great, be sure to get there early for a seat, it filled up fast. There are so many things to see and do. Enjoy your cruise!

    Thanks for the info!

I agree with others, dining room lunch on embarkation day is the best way to slide into your cruise vacation.  Don't ask the staff where it is.  Once on board, drop off your carryons in your cabin, maybe put some clothing away so you aren't living out of suitcases.  Run the safety video on the television while you are unpacking (you have to watch it to satisfy the virtual muster, anyway), and then head down to the Piazza.  Look around, the dining room that has its doors open is the one that is serving lunch.  In my experience it is the dining room on deck 5 at the bottom of the Piazza that usually is open for lunch on embarkation day.  It can change, but my experience is that it has always been deck 5.  If not deck 5, then the dining room that is one level up on 6.  Operating hours are like 11 to 1:30 or noon to 1:30.  It is a very small window.

Remain flexible in your travels, and you'll enjoy them more.

    Thanks!

CruiseNext is a different program.  You buy CN certs onboard ships, not just for US but on any NCL ships.

During Covid when ships were not sailing, NCL came out with CF program, to sell to people who can order online or on phone in US/Canada (i.e. don't need to be on ship).

    Got it!.

Holy cruises, doll! I just checked out your signature. You're more experienced with cruising than most of the so-called experts here! Now I know why your posts are always so positive and accurate. Sheesh - sorry I missed this for so long.

There are soooo many people who cruise way more than me but thanks! Life is too short to be negative and I only answer when I know the answer

  6. If you place a bid ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check the website!

We were booked in a 2 bedroom on the Star. We got the upgrade email for the 3 bedroom garden villa but not the deluxe owners suite w/2 balconies. This cruise is sold out.
2 weeks ago the deluxe owners suite w/2 balconies popped back on the webite and my TA grabbed it for us. So keep checking the website because sometimes the rooms just pop back up cheaper or near the minimum bid.

Think it used to be 6 bottles for Garden Villas, but now 3...

Hmmm, think I'll need a Vodka, Gin and Bourbon.

    Anyone have the list?

Will they provide Simple Syrup and Bitters? (I need to be able to mix an Old Fashioned).

Assume Tonic water isn't an issue for G&T.

We got 6 bottles in the Garden Villa on the Jewel last year

I just booked this as well for my Fall 2024 transatlantic crossing, I prepaid for one bag of laundry washed and folded and Premium Dry cleaning for up to 12 items.  I'll be gone for two and a half week and I don't plan on bringing so many outfits that I only have to wear stuff once.

Look under the Gift and Gear section of your cruise planner.
