Has anyone here visited the Margaritaville in Montego?

I'm looking for advice on available taxis at the pier if we do not book an excursion.

Also, I would like to know how the transportation works if you are on a Carnival excursion and opt to be dropped off at Margaritaville on the way back to the ship. Are you on your own, or does Carnival offer transportation to and from throughout the day?

I posted on JH's page and he has responded saying he's notified the ship and we just need to go to guest services when we get on the ship.

 

We have a pink Himalayan salt urn that is sealed with a stopper so no ashes blowing back on the rest of the ship. The entire thing melts when it hits the water.

Does anyone know the operating hours of the water slides? We will be on the Breeze.

wow 90 minutes in the main dining room? That's a long time for dinner.

Has anyone traveled to the Margaritaville in Montego on your own?

Are there cabs available? I've read concerns about being hassled or swindled so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go on our own.

We will be on the Carnival Breeze in June, and we are those 'we are on vacation and we are not dressing up' people. :D

We've been there and done that in the past, but it's been about 10 years since our last cruise.

Is the only dinner option on elegant evenings the buffet? I'm not a buffet fan. Any advice for dinners on elegant evenings for non-elegant people?
