Hi. We're thinking of going here on one of our Barbados days at the end of our cruise (TA 21/10). I've contacted them to ask about reserving a couple of sun loungers and an umbrella as I've heard it can be busy, particularly as we want to be close to the sea edge. They've replied and sent a form for me to complete with credit card details- has anybody done this? Is it safe to give this info out? Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all that replied to my original query. We went ahead and bought shares via Equinity and emailed a share contract note last Friday, today I got email confirmation of our extra OBC of £150. Very happy!

Thanks all, really helpful. I knew roughly the cost of 100 shares but didn't know about the dividend. Definitely going to investigate further !!

Hi. Does anyone know, if I buy 100 Carnival shares how soon do I qualify for extra obc? As in, if I bought them now could I get obc on our cruise on Britannia on 21 st October?

Hi. We're joining the TA/Caribbean on 21/10 on Britannia. We have booked a place on the Courtesy Coach from Gatwick to Southampton and it says 3rd Departure on the booking. Can anyone give me around ideal of what time that will be?

Has anyone used the free coach service when on a one way fly cruise? We're embarking at Southampton and flying back from Barbados to Gatwick, which is about 40 mins drive from home. We're considering taking the car to Gatwick and parking there, using the coach to Southampton so the car is at the airport on our return.

Any thoughts?

So I called today, on the freephone number, and waited about 15 minutes to get through. I spoke to a really helpful lady called Cathy who said it was no problem to change cabin in principle, however nothing was available on Port side at the exact grade so we needed to pay £30 pp extra for a slightly higher grade (better position on ship, apparently) on Port side so I'm happy.

She also told about the free coach transfer from Gatwick to Southampton which I didn't know about and we we might use as we're not too far from there and it would be nice to have our car at Gatwick when we return.

Also, our onboard credit had "dropped off the system" and she thought we didn't have any! Luckily she was able to reinstate it.

So, all in all, a good experience.

We booked Select. I did try contacting them pretty much straightaway but no luck, even using the call back feature. I'll try again and if no luck will just have to live with it.

Hi, we're booked to go on Britannia from Southampton to Caribbean in October. Booked a couple of months ago but now think I may have made an error in choosing the cabin I did. I chose starboard, but think port would have been better for the TA part of the trip at least. Does anyone know if I'm able to change the cabin, for the same grade but different position if available?

I'd like the answer to this, too. We've already booked it, but am hoping that there will be some "easy access" to the sea. Can't see myself swimming to the beach and back and then hauling myself back onto the catamaran!!

How good is that? I was a bit worried about keeping to the limit as we need to pack for English Autumn for a few days, Caribbean sun and of course evening wear including Formal. Now I won't have to be quite so careful!

We're booked on Britannia from Southampton to the Caribbean in October. My question is, I know the luggage allowance is dictated by the flight home (so 23 kgs) but I'm not sure how this would work if we're over that weight? My understanding is that our cases will be taken the night before, and that we won't see them again until we arrive at Gatwick. If they weigh over the limit, how do I pay the excess at the airport?
