If anyone is still subscribed to this thread, you may remember we were planning fertility treatment. Well, we have just booked our first cruise as a family of three! Hope that our P&O cruise to the Fjords will pass without flooding, broken windows or missing luggage

If any independent tour company got their customers back late, their reputation would get destroyed. Not least in Rome, these are BIG outfits, with the ability to get a back-up vehicle able to "rescue" passengers in a broken-down mini-bus. If the issue is traffic, then the cruise-line's vehicles will be affected just the same.

 

Finally, all the companies allow a significant margin in their timings to get back to the ship. The "we don't wait for independents" is used by the cruise-lines to make massive profits at little cost, but it doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Just a note of caution they have 2 menus A and B which they rotate every 4 days

It's only on one of them.

If you only going once might be worth checking before you book.

We went 3 times the food and service was superb.

I have been looking at new menu and don't see chateaubriand on either menu - has any one been on Azura recently - is it still an option.

 

Also trying to find out if glass house still has Little Eden moscato available - it became a favourite after trying it on one of their wine tastings :D

We sailed this cruise last year beginning of October. Weather was good needed light jacket on trips.

The solurium was great. pools to use were good though not many people used it.😎

Yes tend to agree. We were in Halifax Canada in the fall . When we got off boat it was organised chaos. Excursions reps did,nt seem to know what was going on either. Too many people let off all at once.:mad:

So drinks packages prices for European cruises are higher than USA cruises.😞

Can anyone tell me why we in Europe have to pay £44.50 a day for the deluxe package but USA price is only $46 .😕

And thanks for the heads up on the mini bar / water charge. Will be calling RCI to get it sorted once I find a number that we will not also be charged for!!!!!

Just email Customer services doesn't cost anything. We had some charge on anthem in October.reversed straight away.😎

Don,t think you did.we are from Europe and dress code seems to be followed more. we have been to Caribbean and dress is definitely more relaxed.😎

Oh my goodness. Grown men should wear pants to dinner. I know its vacation but please. Restaurants, dining rooms are not backyard barbecues. Observe the niceties, IMO.

I agree smart shirt and trousers for men. Why is this so difficult, you can still feel casual.😎

What ever the price of the packages the drinks are so overpriced . If you drink more than 6 drinks a day your on to a winner.;-)

Just cruised with rhapsody. Cheaper to buy premium package with cash dollars on ship ,rather than buy though cruise planner before we cruised.

I don,t know about crown and membership making a difference but when we said we were going to cancel all our 3 booked cruises ,they seemed to move a bit quicker!
