  1. I know this is an old thread but it helped me on my sailing on the Summit last week. I found on our TV I was able to plug into the HDMI on the side of the TV and set the TV to channel 3 we could watch content from our ipads / iphones directly using an apple Lightning to HDMI adapter. No remotes or change of inputs (or even unplugging any other cables) required. The adapter turned out to be totally worth the $40.

Thank you for the update and recommendation! We're going on the Infinity next week and definitely going to go buy that Apple Lightning HDMI adapter.

  2. Keep in mind you probably wont be on the ship before noon pacific time, so most of the early games will be winding down. The "afternoon" games (ie 3pm central) start at 1 pm pacific - if you want to watch an early game (ie noon central/10 am pacific), might want to find a sports bar in Vancouver.....

Yes, good point. I think we are going to catch the morning games at a sports bar in Vancouver and then get on the ship. We have fans of a few different teams in our group so the more screens the better. The large screen looks great to watch Sunday night football and Monday night football on!

  3. Thanks, for the input everyone! I've heard good things about the Bistro on 5, sad to hear it's getting replaced as I was looking forward to trying that French Onion Soup people seem to rave about on CC.

I also love sushi so this change works as well!

  4. I know on Solstice there is a card room, but I was just wondering if at any of the bars or outside lawn areas there is a table that might be large enough for a game of cards? We play Shang-hai Rummy and it is usually quite a long game (3+ hours) and it would be great to have fresh air/view or quick access to a bar.
