Yeah if they did stay on the ship. I wouldn't leave sight of it. Lol. I actually don't like the thought of it. But I really wanna give my wife some alone time. She chases them 24/7. So when you leave your children in camp carnival you get a phone correct?

You don't always get a phone and not sure if they work if you get off the ship and leave them on. My kids are 8 and 10 and I would NEVER leave them on the ship and go to a port. I know it's just my opinion, but I think that is wrong and unsafe! What if you miss the ship?? Something happens to your kids and they can't contact you?? It's a family vacation so my kids would go with me to every port!

LOL. It was Bud Light. I bought the beer and the cooler thru Bon Voyage and it was in my room when I boarded. It tasted pretty darn good on HMC!

 

 

 

OMG, I smuggled beer OFF the ship!

We did the exact same thing on the Conquest two weeks ago. I put the coors light in the cooler we got in the package along with some waters. No one ever looked at it! It's fine!! Now of course returning we didn't have any left so any left so no big deal. You'll be fine!

If I were to just send a regular text without iMessage or Facebook Message, would that work with using wifi? Or is that something that would have to be done with my cell phone carrier?

You cannot send texts without using your cell phone carrier. We did the social plan on the Conquest and I was able to send iMessages and Facebook messengers. We did not use our cell phone plan on the ship, I called them and it would have been way too much money! As far as your streaming games questions a lot of streaming sites are not permitted so not sure if you'll be able to see your games.

What did you do in the ports?

In Nassau we just did our own thing-walked around- went to the Pirate museum, the straw market and senor frogs. We weren't off the ship too long.

Half Moon Cay just relaxed on the beach and swimming

Grand Turk just relaxed by the pool at Margaritaville. We did rent an umbrella for $10.

We didn't spend any money on excursions this trip.

I forgot to add we had YTD and only had to wait one night and always got a private table. Also breakfast buffet lines were crazy-we tried once and then walked to the Monet dining room. We ate breakfast there every morning-had wonderful service. It's like a secret! So much better than waiting for the buffet lines!!

Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay were very enjoyable. I did enjoy all the shows on the ship (Epic Rock was my favorite). The CD "Big Sexy" Josh was very entertaining.

What time did you arrive at the ship?

 

Did you have FTTF?

We did not have FTTF. The email we received said to arrive between 1:30-3:00 but we arrived at 12:30 with NO issues. We were in the security line for about 1/2 hour and the check in line about a 1/2 hour but the lines kept moving that it seemed to be quicker than that. I was prepared for it to be much worse considering all the info. I've been reading about port Everglades!

We had a great time. Ship is kept very clean and all the staff was super friendly and helpful. Embarking and disembarking wasn't too bad. I read some people saying it takes a really long time but it was not too bad at all!! Shows and food were good. Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk were gorgeous! We were in a balcony cabin, 1060, absolutely PERFECT location!!

Yes if I was affecting my ability to enjoy my balcony. I paid extra to enjoy it and no one better ruin it for me!! I'm highly sensitive to smoke and can't tolerate it (don't worry, I don't gamble and am not planning on hanging in the casino-they can smoke all they want in there!)
