Because of the price difference of course:) I knew it was a crapshoot with GTY rooms I was just hoping that maybe I get lucky and get a somewhat decent bump. Not this time.

I finally got the room assigned and I am not impressed. Don't know how people got their upgrades but all I got was B3 Balcony on deck 9 AFT with connecting doors so I fully expect screaming children or smoking teenagers next to us.

I wish I went with the Celebrity Summit for 7 days to Bermuda option.

Mine still says GTY - DECK 0. Just 9 days left

I booked the Balcony GTY on 5/21 sailing and see the same GTY Deck 0. Still 10 days ahead so I am not worried.

Just got an upsell email and caked the upsell dept, I'm currently in a mini-suite (which i booked dirt cheap , no promos though) and they want an additional 500 pp for a balcony penthouse.

I am sailing out in 10 days and bought Balcony GTY. From my past experience NCL is extremely greedy for any upgrades (maybe others got more lucky) so I only hope that my balcony will not be fully obscured by a lifeboat or located under the Disco...
