They are bookable as soon as you book your cruise, we reserved our cabin for Sep 2019 as soon as that cruise was released, probably 2-3 months ago.
Sent from my VF-895N using Forums mobile app
Thought so as last year was quick and easy. I have contacted Marella again this evening, prob get a response tomorrow

We have booked a back to back cruise March/April 2019. How long is it before we are able to reserve a cabin.
We have selected an outside cabin deck 9/10 and I have called twice already but got same answer both times. It doesnt look like cabin reservations have been released. Initially they told us there is only 1 cabin available and that was an Accessible Room then no cabins avail yet to book.
We reserved a cabin last year for this years cruise but thought we done it 10 month before cruise. Any idea guys

Still on holiday so just got this email notification. Marseille the drop off point is very close to the harbour. Didn' get the street name but outside world trade centre. The cost was £7 per person.took about 20 mins to get into centre .the buses were frequent

Thanks Campolady. You can always be relied upon to answer queries. Very helpful to know they are usually arranged the evening before docking.
I just left this an extra day or two in the hope that someone might give the actual names of the drop off locations in both Marseille and Valencia.
Anyone?
Alternatively, Scapaflow, would you be able to add the info to this thread when you return? Would help others too.
Has anyone used the public bus from Valencia port instead of the shuttle?
Will certainly try and get as much info as possible Edinburgher

Many thanks for your response Campolady

First time cruising with TUI/Marella in 2 weeks time.Does cruise company run shuttle buses from port to town centre. If so what is their normal charge or are we best using local service. Ports are Marseille, Valencia and Cartegena. Other 2 ports we have excursions booked.
Any advice appreciated

Just booked our next cruise , first time on Thomson. We have booked a Deluxe cabin , but just been told on either deck 6 , 7 or 8. For an additional £45 can select our cabin.
Was wondering if anyone can suggest a cabin with double bed an unrestricted view. Are these cabins on same level as outside walking deck
Any other suggestions/tips on ship welcomed

Great review, we are on the Gem in just over 2 weeks on the 8th April, some great tips. Many thanks. Although in a balcony we only got 1 perk the drinks package. Did you have to wait long to be served. We have purchased dining package so hope Tepynaki and Cagneys live up to the hype, we hope to do the Italian also as we are pasta lovers

I'm on the same sailing an the Thermal pass is now available to book today , however cant see Cagneys to book can book other restuarants fine.

Welcome, and congratulations on your upcoming 25th anniversary. What a special way to celebrate.
I understand your excitement, because my husband and I just booked a cruise to celebrate our 25th anniversary as well. While it is our second cruise, we feel almost like first-time cruisers again, since our first cruise was on our honeymoon.
Blessings,
SiraJoy
We are also celebrating our 25th next year and celebrating our first cruise also. Tried for a while to convince wife as she is not a great sailor, eventually got my way :) 163 days to go, the excitement is building

New to cruising. We have booked for next year on the Gem, the smaller ship doesn't worry me but I do like to be entertained in the evening, even if it is just karaoke
