I'm aboard the Sun right now but don't have good access to upload from my sandisc card. Any particular questions about the renovations? There has been no construction that I've noticed but I don't think they completed everything they planned on completing. I am guessing they stopped short because of the media attention they got from the pre-drydock cruise. For example, our interior stateroom has nothing changed (same carpet etc). The photo area looks brand new along with Los Lobos but a lot of the interior of the ship looks the same.

Any further info on the updates having been completed or not? Very curious since NCL's refurbishment list did seem very optimistic.

We just got back and really enjoyed our 8 day cruise. Going to several of the "game shows" and contests they had as well as the comedy shows made it a lot of fun.

The food: well, I was ready to get back home and eat normal food. They tried to make interesting dishes, but the quality was always lacking. At least I was able to try some new things. Ask your waiter what he recommends..he often knows what past cruisers ate, and what they didn't! Just explore the menu for fun!

Honestly, the cruise director (Keith) and his asst director (Thomas) were what made a lot of the events much better. :) Have fun!!

So great to hear about the length of cruising time in the bay! I didn't even think it would take that long...now I wish the ship didn't arrive back so early on the last day so I could see it again! Thanks for the post! :)
