  1. Why should it be any different ?

Because this is more of an expedition. People spend much of the time outside, bundled up to see the sights. I'd much rather be in jeans and a polo, so I can quickly throw on outer wear and get outside, then in nice slacks and a freshly pressed shirt.

As someone who dresses up as much as I dress down, I personally feel that dress codes are dated and something of the past. I would prefer people be able to dress as they feel most comfortable for the event and to respect how others choose to dress.

  2. Depends on ship's line of sight, if the internet connection is up at all (I've been on-board when it was down for several consecutive days), how many people are using it, etc. Ranges from not working to pathetic to decent - for public WiFi - (for email or browsing). On sea days in the morning it is usually pretty poor as everyone is on their device. Port days after tours have left, assuming no interference from local geography can be pretty decent - not great but useable. 7:30 at night is usually a good time, or so I hear, I'm at one of the bars then :) so have no firsthand experience...

Good to know. Thank you for the reply.

  3. Hello, I posted a message yesterday, but I can no longer find it.

I am getting married later this year and my fiancee and I want to go on a Seabourn cruise for a honeymoon. We already know the itinerary, but I am wondering where the best place to book the cruise is? I am wondering if it is better to purchase direct from Seabourn or from a travel agent? Please note I am not asking for the name of a travel agent (as I realize that is against the site rules), but I am wondering which avenue to go down.

I have heard that some people get cabin upgrades, shore excursions, on board credit, etc. This is a big purchase for us, so we want to make the most of it.

    Thank you for your time.
