  1. This has been helpful. A related question. We become elite on the first leg of our Back to Back in May and have been assured that we will have the elite perks added for our second leg. The question is; does anyone know how soon you can get your laundry done at the beginning of a cruise? Asked for obvious reasons.

  2. We were on a private tour and were in the hall at the time the issue took place. I guess I am not sure what a "near riot" looks like as we heard a commotion up ahead which lasted about, let me say, 15 seconds maximum. The hall settled down, the lines moved and we got through security eventually. Life went on. As well, I am not sure how much control Celebrity has over Russian Security to enable them to form special Shore Excursion lines. It was worth the wait but I am sorry that some were inconvenienced.

  3. We discussed the issue of the buzzers and agreed that Select may become the norm soon. Buzzers are no problem for us. We are the ones who go to the early show, arrive at the dining room around 8:00, are seated or given a buzzer and agree to share a large table so very little wait. We have the rest of the evening for a leisurely dinner as not many arrive after. We don't feel pressured to give up the table at that time of the evening.

    Ain't life great!!!

  4. We are sailing on the Silhouette in May, 2017 and are visiting Tallinn. The itinerary indicates docking at Muuga, which appears to be 1/2 hr. from Tallinn. Does Celebrity always use Muuga or is it too early to know precisely where she will dock.

  5. We are cruising on the Silhouette to the Baltic in May 2017. We are planning our shore excursions in St. Petersburg. The website description is not very comprehensive so we are asking: do all of the shore excursions to the Hermitage include the Winter Palace? We have only found 1 of the descriptions of the many Hermitage excursions that explicitly mention the Winter Palace.

  6. On disembarkation day, our flight from Marco Polo Venice Airport is not until late afternoon. We have booked a Celebrity transfer which I assume will be early morning, meaning that we will have hours to kill at the Airport.

Wondering whether to cancel this transportation and make our own way to the Airport. Thinking of taking the people mover to Piazzale Roma, leaving our bags at a left luggage facility there and going into Venice for a few hours. Finally getting a bus from Piazzale Roma to the Airport. Can anyone advise if this is feasible? Thank you for any help or comments.

not much to do at the airport in Venice. We waited an hour to get checked in and through security and then there few amenities. Time will be the factor in what you are proposing. We disembarked the Constellation in order, I believe, of flight times, so you might be later getting off unless you book to go early. It will take you about 30 to 45 minutes by water bus to St. Marks but an expensive water taxi ride will get you there faster. Not sure about the logistics of a bus to the airport.

  7. On returning from a European cruise we had to check in for our flight from the ship. We were Concierge Class and had chosen to use the pay as you go internet so it became a costly and time consuming adventure. Does anyone know if the concierge service will do this check in and print boarding passes for you?

    Hoping!!!
