great post ! on the same Cruise and once through the covid test nightmare and as you say then the delays and again delay this morning I am sure we could have an eventful cruise !! 

A coffee card is available to pre-purchase at a cost of $40* which allows guests, 10 regular coffees once on board (Speciality lattes, liqueur coffees, hot chocolate, extra flavours/toppings, larger sizes are not included)

I totally agree it’s awefull stuff I couldn’t give it away on my last QE trip even my room steward was reluctant to finally remove it after day 4

I love that Cunard is investing in a new Cunarder. The ship is quite different but I’m sure I’ll love it when I see more of it. Cunard said that this is just a first sketch, some things will probably change with time. I’m really happy we are getting a new cunarder even if it’s not the best design I think it’ll still have that Cunard feeling we all love.

I agree , it’s great news Cunard investing in another great ship... yep looks a bit yukky on first drawing but let’s see what happens . At least it’s a Cunard

Would quite like it to be called Queen Catherine but as earlier posts I think it will be too early for that so Queen Anne could fit

Hi

Stayed at Hilton Southampton for last cruise and it was awful! Never again

Favourite is the Pig in the wall lovely boutique hotel opposite the holiday inn - no lift so those cases need to be carried up the stairs

Premier inn again the usual premier inn good room good bed good awful

Also stayed at the Devere just outside southampton which was good

Novotel was good last November

My partner and I had the complementary drinks pacakage as part of Cunard's 175 year celebration cruise and I thought it was a good idea my good lady and myself had a couple of drinks per night nothing crazy but it was nice to not have a bill so I agree with babs135

Had an interesting one day

After the money being pre authorised on Friday it was credited back Sunday has been requested again today . Spoke to cunard and they said 'oh yes looks like it's been took again '

We will credit back asap

I was also affected by this yesterday spoke with bank and cunard and cunard have paid back into my account today

Hi all I am currently on QE the same as Allie Ballie and had the exact same issue has took 8 days to sort yet still they ship have charged my card every day since I boarded . Been constantly at the purser desk and they tell me they can see the ore cruise credit but it needs to be authorised by the shore team. Fully sorted by a lovely financial manager called Gemma 8 days into voyage . Not a great experience though in between

Hi all just wanted to update on my OBC today

Called Cunard 0843 number

Spoke to a lady asked for $600 off obc in $100 denominations. The lady said it would at the current market rate. I said ok what's the cost she said £389.71 I said ok press the button to me that's a rate of $1.5396/£ to my humble maths . Checked and the £389.71 has been took from bank and had confirmed $600 passed onto my obc so I thought I would pass on as we are at $1.23/£ currently at my bank
