As a Finn, I was very happy with this news :) I am looking forward to cruising these ships one day.

Royal Caribbean has thus far been an important customer for the Turku shipyards (when the shipyard was under STX). I have been lucky to see e.g. Oasis of the Seas at the docks when it was built in Turku. I'm glad to see Carnival as a customer to Meyer Turku. Perhaps I shall go and see the new ships at the docks when the time comes :) Anyway, these guys at Turku know their business, the ships will be glorious!

I totally get you :D

I decided we need to do something big and fun while the kids are still living at home. So we booked our first ever Caribbean cruise for July 24 2017. Eight days, four ports with Magic, should be fun! We're not American but live over 5000 miles from our embarkation port which is Port Canaveral. It'll mean a lot of planning as we also intend to spend some days in Florida before the cruise. But that just means more fun as I really like to plan WELL and ahead. The wife leaves it all always to me, sometimes it's a bit frustrating to be responsible for everything but in the end I like it. Almost 400 days to go and I, too, check the board almost daily. Have a good wait :D I know I'll do!
