I don't want this to come across as being rude but think about it.  If those four people didn't get the three bowls, that means that each of those twelve would be standing in front of you instead of the four.  You still wouldn't get served any quicker.  The workers would still be making twelve bowls.

We have no idea if the person is getting extra for their elderly parents or special needs kids. Really, just wait and it will be fine.  food will still be available for you.

  2. Statistically the chances are lower the earlier in the season it is (I’m assuming you are inquiring regarding Hurricanes) but with that being said it’s just the luck of the draw.

Just get insurance, and make sure it covers named storms and if so you need to make sure you cancel in the appropriate time frame allowed by the insurance for named storms. Read the fine print. I believe the insurance I just purchased said it allowed for named storms and a NHC or other authority issuing a warning for the port within 48 hrs or something along those lines. I’d have to go dig up all the paperwork I printed out from my policy but I do remember it being very specific.

I think you can also get cancel for any reason insurance (this is what I purchased) but even with that you have to cancel before you reach the 48 hrs mark.

Anyway shop around and read all the fine print for insurance to cover your needs and hope for the best!

Chances are low that early in June. I’ve lived here (near Galveston) my entire life and it is very rare to have something come along that early but not impossible as you can see by the recent subtropical Alberto that just occurred.

Thank you so much, that is what I was looking for. Direct information.

  3. Last year, we went on the Freedom. My son is a good and mature boy(at 16). We let him have freedom. He also had homework to do since he was missing school. He had to meet a crew person from another country and write a 300 word essay about their life on a ship, he had to take pictures of 6 things he encountered while outside the ship and other assignments. He did get it all done. He doesn't make friends in his age group easily.

I was so proud when older people would walk us to me and tell me they enjoyed his company. No joke. At night, when we went to bed before 10, he would talk with older veterans for hours. Sometimes, he sat at the bar with them and had a coke. Still to this day, people tell me how luck I am to have such a good boy.

You just have to let them know what is expected. He acted no difference than he did at home. Rules are rules no matter where you are.

  4. Okay guys, I think there are several things at play here. The graduation cruise, TA said we needed 8 to have a party. As far as a meet & Greet, we did not discuss that at all. I'm just trying to figure out what is available for the person setting up a cruise group especially for the Alaskan

    Thank you in advance.

  5. Any one know what the benefits are for setting up a group cruise? I have 2 groups I'm working on.

I have 7 room paid and accounted for a Graduation Cruise in June

Alaskan with 4 rooms already booked with deposits through a TA.

Can the TA determine what is given or Carnival?

I was also told that at least 25 people have to be coming before we can get a party.

I tried to ask Carnival and they would not give me an answer without booking with them. I just don't want to get screwed by anyone.

Thank you for any advice or assistance.

    Lisa

  6. Depends on which ones(probably Breeze or dream) are out of Galveston. I was doing a mock booking for May of 2019 and it showed Balcony's on 2 d floor. I just don't know how I feel about that. It did show them being in the mid-ship and coves. I have issues with sea sickness and don't want to have an issue.

  7. How much room do you need? just for the laptop? try the savvy sleeve or going my way backpack from 31 gifts thirtyone.**com/lisainman.

I love the savvy sleeve because it is classy and I can fit it into my Cindy tote. It fits my 15in laptop and still has room for a folder or 2 and have a well organized office on the go. Just a thought.

you also would be able to order online and have it shopped directly to the house with a full 90 day satisfaction guarantee. you can even get it monogramed for no more than $10.

  8. So can you use Cruise Cash in the gift shop or the other shopping avenues on the ships? I look all through Carnival's FAQ and it said can be used for any charges on the ship but, in another place it said you can't use it in the spa and the casino charges 3% to use in there.

  9. No bashing, please. Help your fellow Carnival cruiser if you can.

For those who have group coverage through their employer or an exchange, medical evacuation is normally covered. However, medical repatriation to get you home is not normally covered. This is especially true if your insurance has in out of network benefits. Normally excluded for out of network providers, which most likely will be the case.

That is so sad. She must have medicare only. That really stinks for her and her family. I hope she gets home soon. I will look for her go fund me and give a bit to help out.

I always buy insurance, you just never know.
