We have been on many NCL cruises and love the not so big ships.

Loved the Wind but of course that retired a long time ago. I know the Sun is in the same category size wise as the Wind, Dawn and Spirit. Maybe not a sister ship but in the same class is what I meant to say! :))

I don't usually eat in the dining room either or buffet. Since we are Platinum we get 2 free dinners and then we got the dining package for 3 other nights.

I am actually thrilled for the new Mexican restaurant.! Another dining option. We ate at it on the Dawn after she was remodeled and it was wonderful. We love the Dawn so hoping that the Sun is very similar. But, will be interesting to see since this is one of the older ships we have not been on.

Hi! My trip to Alaska via Vancouver is fast approaching . We are all set to go but confused what to do the last day.

We have a very late flight back home the day we arrive back from the cruise. So we are looking for what to do that day that is fairly easy. We have 4 in our party including a 8 year old.

First off..when we get off the cruise what can we do with all our luggage?

Second off...any ideas? Is there a HOHO bus fairly close to the terminal? Any sight seeing fairly close? Walkable?

Thirdly...best way to get back to the airport once we collect our bags.

We are going to cuba via the sun in Sept. I only seen shore excursions for Belize! Do they not do shore excursions on the ship for cuba?

Keith, as I mentioned it is quite late. (1030 pm)!!! So we have all day! And a chunk of evening too! I will look into storing. Do you have to pre book the storage with the cruise ship? We have never done that before but never had this late of a flight back. Thanks!

I have been to Alaska once. It was in Sept and it was one of the warmest cruises for Alaska. This time we are going in June.

Generally what are the temps like? We are leaving out of Canada. Just wondering what types of clothes to pack. Does anyone use the pool at all during that time period? Thanks all

For specialty dining it is 100 days in advance for Haven/Suites, all others are 90 days. Have no clue about thermal spa.

The drink of the day is included. Top shelf brands are included. There is a $15 limit, but that does not mean that brands over $15 are not included. They are included, but you have to pay the difference over $15. (If they were not included, you would pay the full price with no discount.)
