My husband and I were just on an Anthem cruise out of Barcelona and when we were ordering drinks (we did not have the drink package), on top of the 18% gratuities they always add, there was an additional 15% tax.

In a couple months I will be going on Rhapsody out of Venice and am curious if anyone knows if an additional tax applies if you are buying drinks on that particular cruise (Greek isles)?  If such a tax does exist for this cruise, is it already in the amount if I were to buy the drink package or would I be charged that tax every single time I get a drink?

I'm looking at booking an Alaskan cruise on Ovation of the Seas this summer.

Obstructed View balconies are cheaper so i'm wanting to pick my own balcony with the "least" obstructed view possible.  The options for balconies are floors 6 and 7.  I was wondering who has experience with this ship (i know anthem and quantum are different) and if there is a deck that would be preferred?  Also if anyone has any specific rooms that they've stayed in and would recommend or avoid I'd love to get some insight!

Has anyone been on a cruise immediately before a dry dock?  My husband and I are looking at going on Oasis this summer when it is in the Med, before it's dry dock.  I was curious if they start closing things down in preparation for the dry dock weeks before.  I believe they are going to dry dock in the middle of September.  We are looking at dates July-September.

My husband and I are wanting to explore Bonaire and read about driving golf cats around the island. Unfortunately the day we're there they are sold out. I was curious if anyone has ever driven electric scooters around the island to explore. If so, recommendations of companies would be great!

I saw that Anthem has a "Name that Tune" game show. How do they select the contestants?

My Husband and I will be going on Anthem of the Seas over NYE this year and are considering getting the deluxe drink package. I have a few questions to the more experienced cruisers...

1. What dollar value of drinks does this cover on Anthem? I've read where people say $13 but when I download the flyer it says $12....I didn't know if this was a generic flyer

2. Does Royal Caribbean raise drink prices on the holiday cruises? If so does this raise the limit of what is covered on the drink package?

3. I have read that they now have "signature" cocktails that are not covered under the drink package. Does anyone have any current bar menu photos that show the current pricing so I can see what types of things would be covered vs an upcharge?

4. I have not been able to find a current vintages menu online. Does anyone have one?

5. The last few cruises I've noticed that they have the drink packages for 20% off, do you think this will be the case for a holiday cruise or do they never discount these options.

Do they let you order things that are not on that nights menu? For example my husband loves French onion soup but I only see it on the last night...is he able to order it nights that it is not on the menu specifically?

I'm going on freedom of the seas this Setember and we purchased the premium package. I'm trying to find out a few questions that I've been trying to piece together through message boards.

1. What time do the bars tend to open in the morning?

2. Waitresses at windjammers can serve bellinis/mimosas correct?

3. Are you able to get drinks at sabor even if you are not eating there with your pass?

4. Espresso martinis...is there anywhere on the ship that has them and will I be charged more because it has coffee or nothing if the price is within the threshold?

5. During main dining are you able to order cocktails with your pass or do they have a limited selection?

6. What time do the bars close at night?
