Oh how awful! This better be a darn good cruise!

We are in a very nice hotel. Last night a city tour was offered, only 8 of us from our hotel took advantage of this offer. There was a sign up desk in the lobby, so unless you looked for it you didn't see it. A couple of tours offered today and a Flamenco show tonight. From how I understand it, compensation will be given for 2days , price varies depending upon room type. Also obc, given to cover our meals while at Hotel. Any obc not used will be refunded. I am not attending grand prix , so limited knowledge. I have heard that they have chartered planes to take people to Monaco, arranged lodgings also, they will meet up with ship in Genoa. Even those who booked independent grand prix outings are invited to use free chartered planes, and lodging. It seems like Celebrity is doing all they can to make a bad situation better. I am grateful that I am not at sea on a ship with no power or aircondioning !!! Just gotta make the best of it,,,I'm on vacation! :)

Yes, I was sailing on this cruise, currently sitting in a hotel room in Barcelona with my fingers crossed that Connie will be good to go on Sunday

Hopefully just 2 more days. Was supposed to leave today on the Celebrity Constellation,,, trip is postponed until Sunday. Celebrity put us up in a hotel near Barcelona,, disappointed but at least have air conditioning.

We leave tomorrow for Barcelona to join the Connie on Friday!

Spoke to Captain's Club representative this afternoon. The sale starts March 31st for 72 hours. It only applies to select sailings between May and August 2017.

We will be cruising in Europe, our first time overseas. Should I plan on using Euros for tipping for room service,,,, or are US dollar bills acceptable? Thanks

Great review! We are cruising on the Connie in May after she comes out of dry dock. From what I have read, the Connie will be getting the Q-Sine restaurant. What type of food is served in this restaurant? Thanks!

I have the classic bev package, and I understand that a tip will be added to my ship account. Can OBC be used to pay for this?

Had a great first time cruise; no sea sickness at all though I was prepared. Good 24 hour Dramamine nondrowsiness and wore sea wrist band. Great experience. Not fearful of cruising anymore. Thank you all!

We are sailing at the end of May, and still have only 17 members on our roll call. Wondering what is going on? Why would there be so few people, just a couple of months out? Any ideas?

Have you done a search on CC topics to get an idea of what to expect? As this question comes up in one way or another at least twice a week and can get very heated.

Hi,,,,our cruise in May will take us to France, Italy and Croatia. We are taking a couple of excursions through Celebrity, and also a few private excursions with new Cruise Critic Roll Call friends. How much should I plan to set aside for tips? I read a good suggestion to put tips aside in an envelope for each excursion planned.

Per the Classic package,,,is there a dollar amount per drink that you must stay within? I am also confused about this package. Will Celebrity supply us with any info regarding what we can and cannot drink that is included? Thanks

Sailing on the Celebrity Constellation this May,,,we have prepaid Classic drink package. Are the gratuities ( 18% ) added onto our bill, or are these included in our drink package? Just thought I'd ask here before I call Celebrity,,thanks!
