SeaPlex, near the reservations counter
The room is a bit underwhelming

Book as much as you can before you get on board e.g. your shows (Pixels, Live Long Legs and The Beautiful Dream) and activities (Ripcord, Northstar, escape room).
Saved me a lot of time standing in lines waiting to make reservations on the first couple of days.
Also download the Royal IQ app on your smartphone so you can make or change reservations as soon as board the ship
If you want to get a WOW band head straight to guest relations to avoid the crowds later on in the day
If you drink a lot of specialty coffee consider buying a coffee card. For US$44 you get 15 specialty coffees, which works out great value as the large double shot, blended an flavoured coffees were $5-6 each

Indeed there's a booth on the Promenade too, however I never needed to visit it

The steward delivered a letter with the code to our stateroom on the night of departure. Might be able to get it earlier from guest services

Thanks for the info! Might as well use our OBC and give them a try instead of wearing a lanyard

Mine is up along with others of the inaugural Australian cruise. Happy to answer any questions. I also have copies of the Cruise Compass but I can't seem to format them so they'll be small enough to upload yet readable - suggestions welcome.
Hi, did you receive a WOW band in addition to a Sea Pass card or does it cost extra?
Cheers

I tried to use the app at the OPT last year and they told me I couldn't use it as they were not set up for it. Not sure if that has changed but I will find out next week :)
Hi, just wondering whether you were able to use the app at OPT this time around?
Cheers

Would purchasing an official RCI shore excursion give you preference for the tender boats?
-
They certainly didn't have the whizz bang check in when I boarded Quantum in Shanghai. Same old check in counters and Sea Pass cards. I think the WOW bands might be optional extras?
-
Wow that's good news. So that would include my cruise on 28th Jan on Ovation?
-
I wonder if they will have the waiter parade in each of the traditional dining rooms now :p
-
Ovation is mentioned in question 2

RCCL would also be saving money by removing the variety of DD since there are fewer menus and dishes to prepare. Meanwhile passengers are more likely to go to the specialty restaurants for variety, so RCCL earns more from that.
-
So all the complimentary restaurants will now have the same menu each evening? That's a shame. Last time I was on Quantum I appreciated the distinctive flavours and menus in each of the restaurants. Seems like having a consistent menu would also save RCL a bunch of money, having to prepare fewer variety of meals.

Just in comparison to escape rooms I've done on land with friends. The room was pretty bare, not much of a theme, no real flow to the puzzles, large group making communication difficult. To be fair, it is free and it's still a good experience to have on board
