Anthem tends to be pretty good for this (unlike Oasis class ships where it seems to be much harder).

It helps that the maitre d’s podium is outside the entrance rather than behind a door that’s only open to full suite guests.

Make a beeline there as soon as you board if you want a reservation on the first night. Thereafter they should let you book for the next night while you’re there dining.

That is a great suggestion!  Thanks.

As a follow up to this question, since we already get the double points for booking a 'suite' (even though a Junior), what other benefits would we realize on the Adventure for upgrading to a bigger suite?  I know this one doesn't have the Sea, Sky and Star classifications - but I'm trying to compile what I can to review and see if the dollars and cents really work out.

Some of the benefits we enjoyed with full suite perks on Freedom of the Seas were access to the Concierge lounge, breakfast in Chops Grille, and special seating around the pool (which is very nice on sea days, since you don't have to go searching for a lounger early in the morning).

  3. I read that getting multiple drinks at once is not permitted. Are they super strict with this? I was thinking it would be nice at CocoCay to get a couple at once and pour them into my Yeti bottle.

What about getting an alcoholic drink and a bottle of water at the same time?

We have always been able to get bottled water and a drink with the deluxe beverage package, but have not gotten two drinks at the same time.

My husband has asked for a double shot in the past, and they served it. So maybe try that and then order the mixer as a separate drink (double shot of Jack Daniels and a coke on the side). Just a thought.
