Yes, I saw that deal and almost jumped...….I decided against until we do this sailing on the Infinty in March......priors were on Norwegian....and a bad experience on the last.....so far greatly impressed from the time of booking thru reading and conversing with others who sail/ have sailed on Celebrity......and of course a good deal can sway my mind!

I sailed on the Bliss and loved it....yes its a much larger ship but was built for Alaska cruises.  Alaska is on my bucket list and although I did not have a pleasant experience on my last Norwegian cruise would strongly consider sailing on the Bliss.

Was in Costa Maya and Cozumel earlier this year.  Had originally booked beach days but canceled...….next year , will have Cozumel again on the itinerary and booked an excursion to Playa del Carmen/Tulum Ruins.....was not impressed with the Cozumel port area.....Costa Maya was in my opinion better shopping, ample time to get off the ship, walk around, and get back on to relax without being crowded....

I will be sailing on March 9,2020 same itinerary.....already booked Aqua class same deck -9127. As a first timer on Celebrity, I will be eager to see how it compares to the previous cabins I had sailing with Norwegian......and interested about the overhang as well.

This will be my first cruise on Celebrity--my other two NCL.  The first was the Bliss out of Vancouver on a repositioning to LA ---where we met some of the nicest people you can meet.....which helped me decide to cruise on the Dawn in early April.  We met some nice people as well--the one that stood out was a woman from abroad playing a slot machine and not understanding how it really worked.  I assisted her and showed her "yes indeed you are winning--and winning pretty good too!" She offered me $20 and said "may my blessings come to you and your family"--and of course I was resistant...and she insisted.  It did bring good fortune.  I have a good feeling of my booking of this Celebrity sailing March 2020.....and hope to meet some wonderful people as well.

It is highly unfortunate that people must act in that manner.  I have met all types of nice people on ships.  We had a couple fighting and cursing on our last cruise during our dinner at a Tepanyaki restaurant which took away from the show of the cook and for the others trying to enjoy the meal......the manager tried his hardest to difuse the situation to no avail......I work too hard to go and show my spouse a great time to have that happen or even ruin our trip...….

I have to agree.....they treat soda and water as commodities but hey all the liquor you want you get! Found a cold soda on a port day and was in tears! Also, regular coffee is horrible....hope management reads these and reconsiders

Sailed twice on NCL and have switched to Celebrity...…..I admit my first NCL was on the Bliss and a recent on the Dawn basically did me in....the Bliss was phenominal-the Dawn abysmal.....where do I even start?  I wanted to plan a 2020 and believe me, Celebrity outdistanced themselves from NCL in price, cabin category, package, everything.....booked an Aqua class cabin cheaper than a run of the mill balcony with way better perks on Celebrity.  To me, I was insulted that NCL had such poor service and handling of maintenance /customer service.  Even after responding to the survey--not a single Thanks, hey we understand we failed....nothing.  As I was told by NCL--you entered into an agreement with us......hum, ok but I also paid for service to be provided.  Celebrity has gone out of there way to so far make me feel valued-and I haven't even sailed.  

The Dawn----oh my! April 7 to 12...……..the good---met some great people, the drink package, the food.  The Bad---constantly blocked toilet due to a neighbor flushing things they weren't supposed to, some of the crew----lets say they were just there.  Many I met had cabin issues--an interior with no a/c or resolution, sewage smell in cabin, loose steps going to deck 13 from pool.  The ugly- electrical fire on deck 10 a few cabins from ours-----we were NOT evacuated like others---it was not pretty from what I understand......people on top deck at 2:30 am, panic with others, guy stuck in elevator, person in wheel chair panicked, etc.  We smelt the issue the next am---told by a few others later in day....if there was a real catastrophe......guess Id be the last to know.  I like Norwegian- I hate the Dawn

Balcony cabin 10058----here is the skinny...…..nice room, small, clean, quiet.....bed decent size but a crack in the middle. The room smelled like "spoiled milk"-permeated our clothes.  The bathroom---very small.  The toilet was horrible.  It kept blocking throughout the cruise due to someone flushing "unmentionables"....looked like it was going to fall off the wall.....if you lower your head-you hit the wall!  The shower--ugh! If you like a cold shower, this is the place! Had a lukewarm shower on last day...adjustments to temperature were fruitless!! The sink area again tiny.....the coffee pot !! Worked when it wanted to---old fashioned pod type , good luck again!!!  Really not a decent cup of coffee on the whole ship.   If you want espresso , great! No starbucks, no dunkin, and I started to miss convienient store coffee!Many people I met had issues in cabins---no a/c, sewage smelling, 

Sailed---never again on this ship.  It needs some serious work. Had an electrical fire on deck 10 with many evacuated to the top deck.  Elevators out.  We had consistent problems with the toilets as did others.  One complained of a sewage smell in cabin deck 8.  Another couple no a/c in interor cabin deck 10...no resolve other than some chocolate covered strawberries??Why go on??? Will I sail on Norwegian again?? Maybe.....a newer ship.....Food was very good.....everything else ok....some great crew some not...to be expected....and really lousy entertainment ( did not go to any shows but heard Elements was great).

Sailed on the Dawn April 7-12, 2019.....never again.  First of all, I am  a fan of Norwegian and how they package a great cruise vacation.  Tons of problems on this ship-loose steps up to smoking area , one guest no a/c in an interior room with no resolution by staff, many had broken toilets-we had constant problems in 10058 with other guest flushing items not meant to be flushed- and after five calls the front desk became uncaring. One couple I met had sewage smell in their room and bathroom. Also an electrical fire and chaos for many on deck 10 2:30 am.  A good portion were taken to the top of the ship for two hours.  A handicapped man was panicking on deck 9 elevators were out of service.  Fire doors by casino deck 6 enacted -people separated and some going for life vests....but with the action just a few cabins away from us no one alerted us at all!!! I was told by a person onsite thick smoke---crew bringing fire hoses?? for an electrical fire?? If it really went bad ---what would have occurred for me and my wife? Some crew were fantastic-others not.  Had some great meals, met some nice people...same entertainment-not much variety, seemed to play the same songs all the time..... I look at it as an older ship that has problems...I guess you get what you pay for...….

My first NCL was on The Bliss----I was highly impressed and spoiled! Want to go back asap---sailing on the Dawn April 7th...when I booked it was told by an NCL rep "you will be disappointed"......I doubt it!

My wife will start with White Russians- myself depending on the mood and people either a good beer, Jack and diet Coke, or vodka tonics...……….if we meet a lively bunch of cruisers the wife will switch to the"cute" drink someone else got lol

As I look at it, Im on vacation! You make it what you want! What did you expect??? I think the reviewer is crazy!  Sailing on the Dawn April 7......Ill review for all!! I am questioning the cost.....? Really? A few dollars more I got a balcony on deck 10 plus all the trimmings!!!  I cant believe some of the outrageous claims.....LOL. Its a huge value for the price....I don't expect five star dining or top shelf liquor and honestly as long as its not the Motel 6 breakfast , Im happy! Feed me, give me drinks, good people to sail with, some winnings at the casino, Im golden!!! MMMMM, can I also ask for a deck chair and wonderful weather with smooth sailing!??

Sailed the Bliss 9/30 from Vancouver on a repositioning cruise and found it awesome! Everyone has different opinions and standards, as well favorite cruise lines.....after a 30 yr hiatus from cruising LOL and twenty four trips to Vegas, it was time for a change....glad we did it and sailing April 7 on the Dawn...…….the nickle dime stuff yes is crazy......I strongly used the beverage pacakage and was pleased! Cagneys wasn't good for us-----the buffet was like Old Country Buffet but hey you ate , right? We met some folks who ate there every meal---I couldn't.Cabin steward was bad...room great.

Sailed the Bliss on Sept 30, 2018 to Oct 5---Vancouver to LA....quite the experience.  My notes: we got thru boarding slowly due to hundreds of temp employees and computer glitches....buffet was good, reminded me of Old Country Buffet lol, balcony cabin on deck13--awesome but cabin steward the worst. Did O'Sheehans once for breakfast...not so hot. Ended up doing the main dining rooms for breakfast after---as well a few meals.  Specialty meals were La Cucina, Le Bistro , and Cagneys-Cagneys was not good.  Spent most of our time hanging out with a group of folks from all over on deck 18 outside bar/smoking area---the unlimited drink package was used heavily!  The casino was good-----won a lot! Cigar Lounge had poor ventilation- smelled like an El Producto after 10 minutes and those clothes were unwearable the balance of trip. Beatles show is well worth it! Do the Cavern Club but go early to get front row seats and listen to 4 people somber karaoke...….Jersey Boys good.  Wanted to see a comedy show but didn't...…...overall left feeling wonderful. Only bad experience was at the Cruise Next desk-woman was rude and I walked away! Loved people watching and seeing similar folks most of cruise yet others must only come out at night LOL...and missed the Washy Washy guy and Wakey Wakey girls!!! 

On my sailing, Margaritaville was a ghost town...……..no one was ever in it

Another point for our cruise, you must fly out the same day.....cant fly the day before.  Im nervous because of American Airlines-heard the flight to Ft Lauderdale out of Philly can be or usually runs behind, leaving 8:30 am with arrival 11:30 am, and if the luggage pick up is like Phlly, add on two hours.....plus who knows about the transfer...…...I hope I make the mandatory drill!!!! Thank god they include the drink package---I am sure Ill need it when I get on
