Randy Sullivan with Mountain Air Service.
I have flown with both Randy and Michelle. We actually got to Randy through Island Wings. We flew to Traitors Cove with Randy this past August and joined up with Michelle’s tour. Both are excellent pilots. This just makes my heart hurt. 😢

I am familiar with them. I flew with mountain Air last summer to Traitors Cove. Randy was an excellent pilot who was referred to us by Island Wings. This is horribly tragic!

And forecasts change, weather systems shift. It’s the sea days I dislike being rainy. I feel less on vacation when I’m holed up inside.

I completely understand. Hopefully it will just be intermittent and not a complete washout!

Yep. This Sunday, thanks for the info, although I didn’t like it much and am hoping for better.
I’ve been the last week of May twice in the past 3 years (just skipped last year) and the weather was fantastic both times. This is the first time I’ve seen an all rain forecast. However, it will be warm. And it’s nothing a poncho or small umbrella can’t fix. Staying positive!! [emoji1303]

Who said anything about unlimited laundry?
No need to get nasty. The original conversation was about unlimited laundry options.

We did our first Celebrity on April the 23rd. on th Equinox as nice as it was we are not going to start over with a new program we are Diamond +. we would sail Celebrity if they had matching program, I am not suggesting point to point but when sailing it would be nice to have the extra perks on Celebrity.
My wife didn't enjoy the cruise as much as I did, so that was probably our our first and last. Too bad I enjoy the ship it was nice to walk thru a fresh smeling casino. We saw a child once or twice but always with their parents. Celebrity have longer itinerary's. I felt like I was one of the youngest people on broad.
That is why it’s great that there are so many cruise line options. I’m returning to Royal after a 10 year hiatus, so I’d be curious to see how they compare. I however really enjoy the Celebrity product. But again, that is all subjective.

Starts at Elite on Celebrity.
I’m Elite and I have never had unlimited laundry. You do get one bag on Elite though.

You probably know the details better than I, but my impression was that the Princess program was more valuable for longer cruises, which Princess does more than Royal. Things like free laundry, not just one wash & fold bag.
Princess Elite passengers have that option. And I think celebrity also offers it to either their elite Plus and Zenith passengers or just zenith. I’m not sure.

I've read that Princess has a pretty good program.
I think Celebrity has a much better program than princess. And I sail on both lines. Elite on Celebrity and Platinum on Princess. This is just my opinion.

You will be Diamond status on Royal.
Best perks are balcony discount, free drinks in the evening, and internet discount.
Thank you!!

I am Elite on Celebrity and will be going on RCCL for the first time since 1998. Will I be eligible for the equivalent status on Royal? If so, what are the perks?

I know Patrick from prior cruises. He may seem phony, but he really isn’t. It’s just his personality. He remembered my mom and I from a past cruise and gave us a shout out on the morning show. My mom loved it. Anyway, everyone has different experiences and opinions. And that’s what makes this board great. Looking forward to my trip on the Summit on May 27!

Interesting, if at the time there was no. CS or PH available (or effectively no way you would ever win them by entering) then that advert would probably be illegal in the U.K.
Quick question, by bidding are you committing to buy if you "win" or do you have the option to back out?
I believe you are committing to buy. So you had better be sure. However, you will not be charged if you do not win.

I received an email today for my upcoming Bermuda cruise on May 27th. I’m booked in a sky suite. The bidding starts at $1000 per person for a CS, RS or PH. I’m happy in my sky suite but wondering why this is an offer at all. I looked on the website and it looks like only an RS is available. Hmmmm.......

The minibus shuttles are one way. Not roundtrip. There was one year that they sold them roundtrip. Niot anymore. Fare is $7 each way. You are correct that they drop off and pick up at the bottom of the hill. They are the best way to get to and from Horseshoe Bay.
Thanks for the update. It’s still less expensive than an excursion and piece of mind that you will not miss the ship on that last day.

There are shuttles at the dockyard. You pay for a round trip. They drop you and pick you up at the bottom of the hill. No need for an excursion.

Sushi on 5. Last May it was still bistro on 5 but I think it's since changed.

They are metered. It cost us $20 (including tip) to get from the port to FLL. I think they said the cost from FLL to the port is about $25. There is a surcharge for fares originating at the airport.

On the Silhouette now. Guest services told me they heard the program will be coming back. She could not tell me when though.

We tried to do this in Puerto Rico on our current cruise; however, we arrived in port 1 hour late and the excursion was cancelled. [emoji853]

What'd you buy for your cruise that's now useless?

Specially made T-shirts for two cruises to celebrate my 50th Birthday. The Alaska shirts were ship and date specific. I will still be 50 on our re-booked trip to the Caribbean next March, so I figure I can at least wear those. 😊
