From what I have read, it seems only AA’s won’t allow seat selection until HAL makes final payment. If there are any other airlines with that policy it would be good to get a heads up.

This seems to be the problem. Our TA suggests that we authorize HA to charge us and pay for the air now and then this should allow us to do the seats. HA's policy is not to pay AA until 45 days prior to the flight. This then may be too late to avoid center seats and premium coach upgrades. The only possible drawback to paying now makes the air non cancelable but that is why we always take insurance

What do you know about seat selections when using HAL Air? How far in advance can this be done?

Is it possible to upgrade to premium coach? Any Idea of the cost? We are using HAL Air for a flight to Barcelona

We were told by our TA that Holland America does not pay for the flights until about 45 days prior to scheduled payment date. Checked with AA and their website said the booking was not paid and seats could not be selected until payment was made. TA also said that we could pay for the flights now which should enable selecting seats and legroom upgrade but it would make the air charges non refundable. Any comments????

For our April 29th Windsurf cruise we just received an email with all details - No Blue pouch, No tickets, No luggage tags!!!!!

Can you clarify what they told you will be available then? All the upcoming voyages, or still some subset. Thanks.

Spoke to Windstar today. They said will not be available until approx Feb 20. Hard to understand what takes so long

We are planning our cruise on the Windsurf and would like to know if she has undergone any refurbishment and when it was done

not on star breeze, but my husband and i did on the windsurf. It was wonderful. Captain performed ceremony on top deck at sunset while in port in antigua. Several officers present along with couple that was with us. Sent little invites, had a certificate, champagne toast, flowers and cake at dinner. I forget what the cost was, maybe$175, but it was worth it. Had a great time.
