Went ahead and paid a little extra to get the room she needed. Will be worth the money knowing my mom is happy.

I got my moms inside cabin upgraded from an assigned room to a ov guarantee, however she has now said she wants to be near an elavator no matter what kind of cabin is assigned. If she is assigned a OV cabin not near a elavator, will Carnival allow the cabin to be donwngraded back to a inside cabin near an elavator? Cabins have not been assigned as of yet for 15Nov cruise. Please no lectures about taking a guarantee cabin. :)
