  1. Going on Harmony on July 22nd of this year. My daughter is turning 21 on July 25th so she'll be celebrating her bday on the boat. My question is how will RCCL handle her Seapass? If I remember right they usually have a quick designation on the minor's card for staff to tell if the person is of age or not. Will we have to get her a new card on her birthday in order for her to buy a drink?

  2. I'll be on Harmony two weeks after you. I have already purchased my Ferry tickets. I plan on going to Anacapri as soon as I get off the ferry. After the chair lift (and Back down) I am going to go to Villa San Michel (very short walk from chair lift). Right next to that is the Phoenician Steps which lead back down to the port. Walking down steps is easy... :p

Hexdragon....how did you book your ferry tickets ahead of time? We're planning on doing pretty much the same as you on October 14.

  3. Wow thanks everybody for all of the great info! Very overwhelming being our first trip to Italy and all, but I'm figuring we'll have to save a lot of it for future trips. Capri seems to be a gamble - Blue Grotto would be nice but not sure if we want to dedicate a couple hours for it and who knows if the weather will allow for it anyways. Euro Cruiser...thank you very much for the suggested itineraries! It's our 25th anniversary on this particular day and I kinda wanted to make it special. I appreciate all of the info and I'm sure we can make a plan to ensure its a day to remember!

  4. Thanks wheezedr! Yeah that's kinda what I'm finding that there are no tours with this combo that we're looking for. RCCL offers a Capri/Sorrento/Pompeii tour that lasts all day but I'm just afraid of not being able to spend enough time in each spot.

  5. So this is pretty much my first post (ok 2nd but first new topic) so forgive me if this question has already been many times.

We'll be docking in Naples in mid October and are in port from 7am till 8pm. This is the one port that seems to offer way more than one can do in a day. I've been searching for some kind of tour that offers just visits to Capri and Pompeii that will fill up the day but haven't had any luck in finding one. We'd be willing to do it on our own as opposed to an organized tour so I guess I'm looking for thoughts/ideas/suggestions. It's our first visit ever to Italy and I know the Amalfi Coast is beckoning right around the corner as well, but I think we'll save that for a trip when we can spend some more time.

Any input will be greatly appreciated!
