Swissotel Singapore is above a MRT. An amazing hotel, but a bit expensive these days. You can walk underground for a long way and avoid the heat too! There are many hotels I am sure that are close to MRT’s but this one is our favourite. This time was are staying at Sofitel Sentosa for a different look at Singapore.

Thank you for your feedback. I see the Fairmont is next door so will take a look at that one as well as V Lavender and Furama

We went to Cosmopolitan last night for dinner. It was the last evening chic and lobster night. The service was spot on and the meal was delicious. The staff was attentive and charming. Like every other cruise we have experienced on Celebrity. The back to back meeting was today and 116 passengers are on the next cruise. It has been very windy, gray skies and seas 15' to 20'. Since everyone is inside, it is crowded but there are places to hide. Walking is tough with the seas, but fine if you hold onto the railings! We got a reservation for Sushi on Five tonight. They had several times available which surprised me.

Thank you for your informative report. May I ask if you had any issues reserving space in the specialty restaurants once onboard?  We board in a week and both Eden and Le Voyage are showing as  “not available”

The balcony cabins alternate the bed beside the balcony or the bathroom.    The general rule is usually to find the closest connecting cabin and imagine you're standing outside the cabin doors, the cabin on your right hand side will have the bed beside the balcony, and the one to the left hand side the bed will be beside the bathroom.

I travel with a mobility scooter or a powered wheelchair (which I prefer to take), and if accessible cabins are not available, I can usually fit my scooter in a cabin, but its best if the bed is beside the balcony to allow the scooter to fit into the cabin, and this is the way I was told to work it out.

    I hope this helps

    Thank you

The Feds messed up my first request, so 3 weeks later I asked again.  Well, first was one month, and second was the next month, so they sent them BOTH!  I now have 17 test kits that expire 8/9, 8/13, and 8/26.

Contact my board name with an ri added on, at that yahoo place.

So very nice of you for this generous offer to share your bounty.  I also have been waiting for my allotment the past month. Was going to put in another request but based on your experience will hold off another week. Hopefully will get them before my July cruise

Currently on Serenade.  They are testing me for a S2S on Serenade to Quantum.  GS called me yesterday and gave me the time and location.

Thank you for posting your experience. May I ask If you  just go GS and request a S2S test.  What proof did you have to present for testing?

We just used these early this morning (both negative, thank god).

You can use the two tests within one box. All they wanted to make sure of was whether everything was still sealed in the individual packaging, so having the original box opened didn't matter.

Do allow yourself some extra time between tests if you're only using one computer for multiple people. My husband's was scheduled for midnight, mine for 12:45am, and my test still ended up starting late due to a few hiccups with his - it wasn't connecting to a proctor for the longest time for some reason. Fortunately he had put his phone number on the sign in page even though it was optional, so they called him to start the process. We were then told to constantly refresh the screen when it was my turn to force the system to connect with someone. Rather ridiculous, but it did work. I only had to wait a couple minutes whereas his was about 20 minutes late. Fortunately the results were emailed immediately while still connected - they had us confirm that all our information was correct before disconnecting. And the results are very thorough.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for this helpful information.  May I ask if you used a desktop, laptop, smartphone, or iPad.  The reason I ask is my desktop computer does not have a camera so I will  have to use my iPhone or iPad.
