Thanks for advice. Hmm..not really going to sight see with them...due to heat and crowds we think. However, the vaporratto sound fun, and cooling!
-
We find that most are ok - we treat them as we would like to be treated and most are fine. Some just shy. I think that many are not from countries where people are naturally out going so you wont be greeted with 'Have a nice day' everywhere you turn.
Actually agree with the percentages :-)
Having said that, have just got back from Oceana and we had to admit that the staff were brilliant - particularly the bar staff across the ship. A fabulous team.
Totally agree about Oceana bar staff, indeed all staff in my opinion. Which is why we are returning this Summer.

Thank You, any extra tips or thoughts you can pass on, please do. How were the ports with children?

August cruise. Fun things for children to see/do?
-
Anyone know if the recent refurb applied to childrens areas. Is the small splash area still there?

Tangoqueen and cruiseluvva...I will eagerly await your experiences and feedback. (Onboard next month!)
Do enjoy every minute...as we expect too.
-
Tangoqueen, would you mind advising how this service goes for you.
We travel from Manchester and had the bonded luggage email (for Sept), so curious to know how it is.
Thanks

Thanks all.

Which is best option for a creaseless (or as near as) wardrobe at end of flight and transfer?

Well written final post. Happy Cruising next time.

Which is why I am taking Son Of's comments with the proverbial pinch of salt they deserve.
Each to his, (or is it her?) own.

After reading an RCI thread, I am just seeking reassurance that no-one has ever had or heard of any bed bugs in Cunard cabins?
-
Absolutely wow...stunning waterfront. So much history and so much to see.
-
We onboard that date too, but I will probably only be running (sauntering really) between bars/talks/activities and eateries. Hee Hee.
Will look out for you.
-
Loved checking out the pics, ready for our Sept cruise. Thanks.
What is Yacht Club used for...and why were the chairs set out apart, on the dancefloor??
-
Also had a helivac, mid North Sea several years ago (our first ever cruise...we were riveted!) and a medivac whilst at anchor in Norway another time.
Me thinks it is quite common.
-
Thanks, know anyone who purchases them and finds them useful?
-
Considering purchasing a coffee card..wondering how much an individual espresso or latte may be. Anyone know?
-
One of the reasons I particularly enjoy Cunard is the abundance of live music!
-
Couple of days, but if driving back from port (several hours) this helps take the edge of it.

Been on P&O and Cunard with children when 10m, 13m, 2 yrs.
Very well catered for, and I can assure you, have lots of fussing from other passengers and crew!
One took first steps on board last year (does this qualify for a free cruise...haha), usually buggied around prom deck and lido decks.
Absolutely no balcony for us, not worth any risk, provided with baby bath and travel cot. no hesitation taking them again.
GO, and enjoy.
LOOKING AHEAD
in P&O Cruises ( UK )
Posted
1. First sighting of 'our' cruise ship....always have a squeal.
2. Hearing hum of the engines
3. Buffet...endlessly
4. Sauntering the decks ...aimlessly
5. Dressing up....
Cancelled this years, unsure when we can book again, due to work dates!
