I will be taking a cruise leaving from Rome this coming weekend:) and was just looking for a little reassurance from anyone who has stayed in a hotel in the vicinity of Termini station. I have heard it's not the greatest place but that most people felt fine there (just reading reviews), and just wondered if anyone from this board had stayed in that area and how they "faired":) It's just easy to stay there the night before our cruise so we are near the station to catch the train the morning of to Civitavecchia, and it is the cheapest area to stay!
Any thoughts would be appreciated!!
Also someone had a post wondering where to find good hotels...go to www.Eurocheapo.com they have a really good system for finding places and tons of options!! (Not just for cheap hotels either)
