  1. We are first time cruisers and would like to join our friends who are sailing on the Arcadia round the world cruise from Southampton in 2018. We would join in Sydney and embark in Hong Kong.My wife would have trouble stepping into a bath and coming from Australia we would prefer a balcony cabin with a shower only .It appears E Deck Cabins 1-8 are shower only.Has anyone sailed in any of these? From the deck plan the balcony appears smaller than others and could you confirm the railing is steel and you have to stand to see over.Plus any other comments. Thanks so much looking forward To your comments.

  2. We would like to join our friends on the world cruise leaving Southampton in February 2018.We will join in Sydney and leave in Hong Kong.Balcony cabins with shower only are hard to find, Deck E Cabins 1-8 have showers, has anyone travelled in these cabins? are the balcony's smaller and is the rail metal rather than see through so you cant see the view if sitting? Living in this part of the world we are used to showering. We are first time cruisers and didn't think we would have to book this early but it appears if we would like a cabin with a shower we will have to.Is it a problem stepping into a bath especially for the elderly? Look forward to your comments.
