After being burned 3 cruises in a row with bogus itinerary changes I've become very suspicious. Now I always check the ports websites to make sure they really have a reservation. The Port Authority has zero reason to lie. NCL has both motive and opportunity.
I have also had port cancelations on a number of recent cruises. All have been close to or after the time of final payment. I haven't had this experience with other cruise lines I've used.
I enjoy NCL, but after my cruise this summer, I don't plan to book any more with them. I already have bookings on Viking, Oceania, RC, and HAL well into 2026.

Maybe the OP can change the title of the thread to Luggage Preferences.

I'm worked up? Not even close.
I find this all amusing. If you read the thread (and pretty much all of CC) you will see what people getting worked up looks like.
Oh, and I misspelled nothing. There's Markie Mark and there's Marky Mark.
I'm the hot one.

Good lord. I don't seem to encounter actual people on actual cruises who are so completely miserable.
Lobster.
Towel animals.
Enjoy your misery. I choose joy.

The OP threw out a little bait and look at the results. You can’t blame them. This is rather entertaining.

Does anyone know if NCL provides transfers from the ship to the airport that include a stop at the Blue Lagoon? That was an option on a previous cruise on a different cruise line and I'm hoping that NCL does it too. Our flight home is at 5pm.

We are day 3 of our trip. Our fellow passengers remain friendly and polite and the staff are uniformly great. Seriously, the staff are amazing.
The kids on board are well-behaved. Maybe I’m just super lucky.- 7

I boarded the ship yesterday. We chose this cruise because we anticipated that there would be few children and so far we have seen some but not many. The crowd so far has been pretty mellow and quite friendly. Staff so far have been very nice and service in the main dining room last night was efficient.
I’m a New Yorker so have been following this thread with interest. This sailing has a nice mix of cultures and a variety of people and it’s been very enjoyable. It doesn’t seem full. There are plenty of places to sit and read or just stare in that blissfully-catatonic way that is so nice on a cruise ship.- 9

Do those who pre-pay the umbrella rental get priority access to early tenders?

Don’t rent the beach umbrellas that are under the excursions! We just did that on our November cruise. You have drag a heavy bag that holds the umbrella a small shovel and a plastic “pouch” that you have to fill with sand. There is no point at the end of the umbrella pole. It is a lot of work and then at the end of the day you have to pack it up and bring it back to excursion hut. Horrible!
Will an attendant do it for you if you ask and offer a tip?

Wonderful!
Thank you all for your responses and encouragement!

Hello,
I am booked on a 14-day TA this spring and purchased a package of 4 specialty dining nights that are in addition to the two nights that were included in the promo at booking.
I just booked those dinners and subsequently received a dining confirmation email that lists the first four dinners as included but specifies that the last two nights are a la carte. I called NCL and asked if they would send a revised confirmation with all dinners listed as included but the agent (who spoke with his supervisor) said that this is a "glitch" and that I won't be charged for the last two dinners.
I'm frustrated that they can't send an accurate confirmation and assume I will have to deal with this at Guest Services once on board.
Has anyone else reading this had this experience?

Flossie and other contributors did an excellent job preparing us to have an excellent cruise.
we met so many nice people at the fairmont before getting our transfer today to your disembarked ship.
my DW had left her hat in the gathering waiting area but didn’t realize it until we were on the bus enroute to the port.
I called the hotel and was transferred to their concierge. He got our information about the Stetson straw hat. Then called me back shortly, even thou I hadn’t given him my phone number. He told me another passenger had picked it up was on a following bus. They said they would drop it at the ship’s list and found.
we quickly retrieved her hat. They were so Kind and considerate that I wish I could find out who they are. We ran into someone who rode the bus with them but didn’t know their name.
the crew on this ship, even though we haven’t sailed yet are incredible!
I went into the restaurant reservation office and the gal welcomed me warmly by name. She was the hostess we saw every night at compass rose on the navigator last May that took such great care of us. We got an extra pacific rim reservation already. I now understand how it feels to make contact with crew you’ve sailed with before. I never expected it on other cruise lines.
Our Nicaragua pot turned into a sea day but I expected that from this thread.
this is already starting to be the best Regent cruise. Thankx for setting it up with such positive information!
fair winds and calm seas.
Are you sure?

I was excited about this until I saw the photos. I don't like having a balcony over a busy deck area and that is the case for all of the balconies. I'd rather look down at the sea and not have constant noise directly under me.

The only contraindication to a COVID-19 vaccine is a serious, life-threatening reaction to a previous dose of that vaccine or a component of the vaccine.
If one has such a response to an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna), they can receive a JJ vaccine in lieu of their second dose of the mRNA vaccine. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/specific-groups/allergies.html

Don't worry, OP.
Some people care. Perhaps the posters who live on this board don't care (even though they feel the need to bash you for daring to post your interests on this board).
Perhaps some of the frequent posters might want to ignore threads they don't care about and accept that less-frequent visitors here might be interested in what you have to say.

Any errors or omissions in the attached document in the first post?
Ironically, one poster here suggested that "you need a hobby".
Meanwhile, you have 482 posts while this person has almost 39,000.
I'm assuming self-awareness isn't her strong point.

How many threads do you need to tell people you are not happy about missing ports on Oceania ?
if not happy with Oceania or any other cruise line just spend your $$ elsewhere
adding to my ignore list
Do you need to be rude and inform everyone that you are ignoring someone?
Perhaps you might find other activities to fill your time. You seem to live on CC.

Yikes. That's crazy. What time did you arrive to the terminal?
I have an upcoming sailing from Manhattan and have been alerted that the ship will arrive late and not to arrive to the pier until noon. I'm wondering if it's better to wait until 2 or 3pm. Do you know if people who arrived later had a shorter wait time?
