  1. Premier cruises are cruises where avid gamblers get cheap offers for rooms and other benefit. So there is likely a substantial amount of gamblers on the cruise and the casino will be more crowded. Premier getaway is the same thing just shorter cruises.

  2. They had this on Elation in Nov & January. Some easy questions, then questions like, name all three of the triplets that Phoebe carried for her brother and his wife. Brush up before you go!:D:D:D:D:D:D

Easy. Chandler, Frank Jr Jr and Leslie

  3. Might be surprised. We found that the trivia was obscure. Lot's of people with expertise in the categories.

You’re highly underestimating my deep knowledge of useless Friends trivia lol

  4. There are usually a bunch of 6$ blackjack tables open. You can bet 5 with the $1 side bet or $6 on your bet. Blackjack pays 6-5 and they use a continuous shuffle machine so the house is trying to get all the edge they can. Most casinos in Vegas pay 6-5 unless you play about $25 a hand.

But at least Vegas does not have the continuous shuffling, I don't play BJ on the ships because of that. I usually stick with 3 card poker which is 5 minimum.

Have you tried Fun 21? They don’t have continuous shufflers. Rules are slightly different, but i always seem to do better playing it

  5. I was looking at the smoking areas and it doesn’t look like there’s a single pool bar where you can smoke at. Deck 11 is the only place you can, but there is no bar up there correct? I was just on Paradise and you could smoke at the Red Frog rum bar on starboard side of deck 10, which was nice.

  6. Don’t do a carnival snorkel excursion if you like to snorkel without many other people bumping into you and a rushed experience with no guaranteed sightings. Pure fluff, take your equipment and do it on your own at governors beach

Is it really that bad? I’m doing catamaran Snorkel thru carnival. It has great reviews. Although I might be more excited for the rum punch and party, than the snorkeling. [emoji847]

Is it at least pretty snorkeling? When I went in St Thomas is was all dead coral

  7. I bring cash when I gamble, although that has only been in Las Vegas. I decide my limit and spend no more. Sounds like the other cruisers are charging to their room or accessing ATMs and I think I would be less disciplined that way.

I’m the same way. I usually bring $100 a Day in cash for gambling. So a 7 day cruise, I have $700 to play with. I spend every night in the casino for hours and I never needed to pull money off my S&S. I usually walk off the boat with most of money left and last time I doubled my money & walked of with $1400! It was the best and sadly only time haha

  8. Okay - New to Carnival, but got my cruise because of an M-Life promotion. I also gamble plenty on RCCL. Can anyone tell me how much you have to play and/or spend to get DOU? I'm normally a table player; either blackjack or craps. Blackjack, I don't play a lot more than minimum unless I'm doing well, but I play a LOT. Craps I'll bet the pass, odds and inside.

Hard to tell on the tables. I play blackjack exclusively and it seems the more I’m tipping the dealer, the more free drinks I get for the table.

  9. I usually bring cash because it’s easier. But you can give the dealer your sail and sign and he can pull money off of it, I think it’s a 3% charge. Yes, it’s just like a withdraw of your card.

  10. If the casino is buying then they don't. I thought the OP was asking about the DOU card but I see they said comped. Missed that.:D

We were comped a few on our last cruise and they did not count. The casino host put told the servers to charge the drinks to her card.

Yes that is what I meant, not the DOU Card. Ok they still always take our cards even though the pit boss says it’s on them. But good to know those don’t count. Thanks
