All you have to do with auto gratuities is inform guest desk is that you don’t want to pay.
They will normally say come back last day of cruise, no problem you go back last day and repeat request and it gets credited.

If you are on the drinks package on NCL yes you will see it on your account. But if on beverage package it is removed. ONLY ON BEVERAGE PACKAGE

We were on the December cruise Hong Kong to Singapore via no mans land, and have received all our refund plus 50% Off future cruise
Now told this years December cruise on the Jewel will also have itinerary changes (no Melbourne and Tasmania)

NCL are now getting renowned for changing itineraries.
I was on the Star at Christmas so we are getting use to NCL changes
What they don't do when they say complete refunds is give it
on already booked flights and hotels
If you want to spend 5 days at sea sounds like a great cruise
Perhaps Melbourne doesn't want NCL back after the Star broke down!!!

Theirs 3 areas where you can smoke on NCL ships and if you don't like them walk elsewhere it isn't that difficult

Totally agree, what is now happening is the hole is getting even bigger and costing even more.
I notice the that NCL have even stopped refunds, and only giving vouchers!!!!!

Everybody do not get excited we were told exactly the same story from the Chief Engineer in early January.
Also the Chief Engineer said and I quote
"I didn't know of any previous problems with regards Azipods"
So he didn't know about the 2015 problem and he didn't know about the problem in Copenhagen in May.
Have a look at your ships log mate
Maybe they need a new Chief Engineer

Sorry this is nothing about Azipods I was on the December 23rd cruise we had the 50% refund offer but until we got hold of the correct NCL person we got no ware getting our money refund.
Still waiting though.
Be aware travel agents have the best excuses as to why you do not get full refund
i.e. Port taxes etc. What they really mean is my commission is going down the pan!,,
