Never been on one of the largest ships in any cruises line.  At each of the different stop is only one gangplank used to disembark and embark the 4000 quest?

Any others tips for first timers on large ships would be appreciated

a cruise to this area would be nice to do but what time of the year best or is there a difference

Is it correct if you bid and change to a Haven cabin/suite you lose your current perks and don't receive the perks that typically come with a Haven cabin (which is everything that is offered), or any for that matter?

 

We're in a balcony on a future cruise, and are getting UBP and free daily service charge. IF we receive the invitation, and IF it was accepted, does that mean we would no longer get UBP and need to pay the daily service charge (at the higher Haven rate)? ... even though a person booking a Haven cabin/suite on the website would get every perk offered on that day ( no matter how close to sailing).

 

Would REALLY like to hear from one of you who have sailed in a Haven cabin/suite after changing through the bid process, if possible, rather than just a reference to the fine print. We all know what happens in real life on ship can be different that what "it" (whatever "it"is) says.

The information I have is you keep any perks you sign up for but you do not get any new perks with the up grade

Just wondering if there is a shuttle that takes you into town from the port. I know we can also catch a cab but should it be in Canadian or American dollars? I heard you can walk into town but not sure my knees can take it LOL Is there anything to do at the port? Shops or restaurant?

Where is a good place to fill a water bottle with ice early in the morning before we leave for are shore excursions.

I do not think there is a soda package for purchase on POA, I only see water packages

can I get a cab outside of the cruise terminal when we are docked at Kahului in Maui or are they located somewhere else

Can each person in the room have their own credit card linked to the ID card.

Does NCL use one card for you to use to enter your room make purchases and ID to get on and off the ship at the stops.

just talked to customer service. If one person has a package all the others have to have the same one

I have found the web site cruisemapper.com it shows where any cruise ship is.

I still can't find an answer to when they will be available to book. I just keep checking!

we are traveling in June on POA customer service told me about 6 months out they will start to show up as thing to do when you log in at the my NCL page

This our first time cruising on Norwegian we are cruising on POA in June. Does Norwegian not offer a soft drink package only a water drink package? We normally sail RCCL and they offer soda packages that work really well for our grandchildren.

I see the same packages. I think there might not be any soda packages yet in case of a price change.
