  1. On Oasis of the Seas right now. 40% capacity and there must have been more than two dozen people at the LGBTQ meetup - all of whom ignored me. Oh well.

just booked a 7-night cruise on Symphony of the Seas for Dec 3-10 for my birthday and my sister’s.

Glad I saw this post 🙂. I was sort of hoping you would like to walk the beach in the triangle beach excursion on the 16th.  BTW we will be in cabin 8030 unless an upgrade bid is awarded.  That is the Starboard Aft Corner.  I am doing the beach walk alone at this point.  Wife said you could have her ticket to the Bermuda triangle excursion but I told her you already called NCL. BTW wife knows and is very LGBT friendly.

Thanks, but I am not a beach person, nor really into nature walks. I'm sure we'll meet for a drink onboard. I'm in 10138 - starboard, just forward of the aft elevators.

Have any of you sailed on Pullmantur?  A group of us are looking at their cruise from South America to Europe (Rome or Venice) for the spring of 2021.  We are bilingual, so the Spanish predominance is not a problem.  Just wondering about the service, food, drinks quality.  They have many short cruises in the Med.  Thought perhaps someone might have sailed with them somewhere.

Pullmantur is a sister line to Royal Caribbean - it's where they send their ships when they retire from the main line. They recently retired Monarch of the Seas and sent her to Pullmantur. I've never sailed with them, but do be aware that they are all older ships.

Wonder what the drive will be like from Southern VA to Elizabeth, NJ in Dec. Been a long time since we have been in the north during that time of the year

It might be a nothing trip, it might be murder. Keep a close eye on the weather reports, and consider driving up a day early and staying over so you don't risk missing the boat.

    FANTASTIC!  Have a fantastic cruise!

    What is the itinerary?

We have a long time friend who is a steward on this ship.

Miami - St Maarten - San Juan - Labadee - Miami

I have done that for several cruises and have little to no response but high volume of readers but little to no talkers

Agreed. I created one for my upcoming cruise, and have gotten nothing.

Correct. Check for LGBT Social Hour or Meet Up or something like that. On Anthem, it was 7pm nightly and I didn't see anything offered on Explorer in September.

My understanding when we sailed on Brilliance 2 years ago was that they only offer LGBT meet ups on cruises of 7 nights or longer.

Sailing on Anthem of the Seas out of Cape Liberty on February 25 for an 11 night cruise. Anyone know how Royal handles the LGBTQ crowd. I've enjoyed the groups on NCL, so looking forward to a new venue.

We sailed on RCCL Brilliance of the Seas Dec 2016 and had no issues whatsoever.

Hi we are from Brooklyn N.Y.. We average 3 to 4 cruises a year. Our ship of choice is Royal Caribbean.

My husband and I are from New Rochelle! We will be on our second-ever cruise on Adventure of the Seas in May 2019. (Our first cruise was also RCCL, on the Brilliance in Dec 2016.)

hi were a gay couple from seattle in our late fiftys and early sixtys, weve done around 10 all gay cruises, a couple partial gay (cuba) and a couple straight cruises. i can not recomend the gay cruises enough, we avoided them because we "didnt have the wild streak, wernt hot enough"and finally took the plunge. we had the time of our lives,90% of passengers are just average gays, so welcoming with no attitudeand you make friends instantly, some life long we still get together 10 years later. sure theres partys but so much more, they bring all their own entertainers and shows, dont want to party on the pooldeck? go to one of the numerous bars or lounges for every kind of music and entertainment you can think of. if theres one problem its that theres too much to do. we do pay alittle more but find its well worth it and no children, next cruise straight ncl barcelona-venice in may happy sailing

Did you book through Atlantis for the gay cruises? Are there other gay cruises out there?
