We had a great experience.. Nice area.. Nina was our dolphin.. you can't take photos unless your a spectator and not swimming with them.. they have open cubbies for your belongings, cameras around I looked for the ones that were facing my cubby.. not much else you can do.. great experience all in all though.. Enjoy!!!

We are doing the dolphin excursion in June in Tortola from the Ncl escape, does anyone know if there is a safe place to put your wallets/cell phones etc. While swimming with the dolphins? Lockers?

I have been to Alaska twice once in July and once in August... It rained only 1 day and that was in August in Ketchikan .. it's a crap shoot.. but the beauty on this cruise out weighs a rainy day.. enjoy!!!

probably tacoma would be your best bet for hotel .. sunday traffic will be horrible from 3 pm on.. especially in the summer months, monday you will hit traffic early morning from tacoma but clears out a bit by 8 ish.. i live in gig harbor travel i-5 all the time with commuting

I have done alaska 2 times and will be going again in 2018 just as the comments above it is like no other. My favorite cruise by far if your into nature [emoji6].. we saw whales, so many eagles in one area, breathtaking. We also did the train ride, glacier bay, etc... You will not be disappointed. I would suggest middle of July to middle of August is the best time frame for any kind of warmth for sea days.

Leaving SF .. Oct. 29th-Nov 13th.. Trying to figure out what to pack.. I'm from WA state different weather patterns really don't bother me.. But my mother and Auntie are 84 and I'm not sure what they should pack for, they live in California .. Has anyone done this cruise during this time frame? I know every year is different and we can't predict what might happen, just want a few what did you do answers [emoji16] thanks

I have never been on RC but the kids always look really busy on the ships and seem to be having lots of fun... The ports are what you make them.. the train ride in skagway? Log show in Ketchikan? Dog sled ride? Whale watching? So much to do..
