  1. Hi Thanks for your update You say 'not cheap' How much was it approx. and how many of you were there on the tour

From memory it was around $140 AUD. There were 4 of us on the tour (myself, my mother and another couple from Aus). Someone has posted the link to his website - I think the prices are listed there, and you can also contact him directly from there to negotiate a price for your party.

  2. Hi Arlene - I did not do an "organized on the roll call tour" on this one. Here's the link to Fernando.

Look at cruise ship special morning arrival.

There may be others on our cruise going with Fernando...

Hi all, we did a tour with Fernando (based on reviews on Trip Advisor) and had the most wonderful time! He (and his wife and child) are absolutely delightful people and if you have particular places you want to go to (or wish to spend longer at a certain place etc) he willingly accommodates! We had an absolute ball and got to see a fair bit of Noumea on our tour. Not cheap, but worth every cent

  3. Hi,

I've only been to Noumea once, and I had read quite a few negative comments. We were due to arrive when the shops were all closed, so we booked a non-ship tour with 'Fernando's tours and transport' - found via Trip Advisor - not cheap (comparable to other full day tours though), however, Fernando was the most wonderful, warm, witty host we could possibly ask for and my memories of Noumea are fantastic. His wife cooks a home meal for lunch and you will get to visit areas of Noumea most tours don't travel to. He is also very adaptable (ie. you choose where you would like to go) - best tour I've been on and worth every penny! Worth asking if he could accommodate a tour of your size as he had a new Mercedes van but I think only a 10 seater?
