  1. We are coming back on the Allure Sunday morning but flight doesn't leave until 7pm from FLL. Our airline isn't part of the ones that we can precheck our bags with using Royals bag option. What can we do in Ft Lauderdale with our luggage all day with 2 kids? Will any of the hotels have an option to pay day fee to use pools and bell check service? Any advice on how to spend the day would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

  2. Hello -

For our Allure cruise this coming Sunday, our guest booklet says check in between 12:30 and 3:30pm to get on board. However, I've heard of people arriving around 10:30/11 and getting on. Can anyone please clarify if boarding times differ from cruise to cruise so stick to the 12:30, or is it worth showing up early to try and get on around 11?

For the 2 bottles of wine, do I need to carry them on with me for them to inspect or can I put them through with my checked bags in a suitcase?

    Thank you

  3. Hi -

Going on Allure at the end of this month - first time cruiser! One of the ports (Nassau) is 7am-2pm and makes me wonder how much time we'll really have on land.

Please advise what is the typical length of time for disembarkation? Do people line up at 6am in order to get off at 7am? What do I need to know? And if ship departs at 2pm, what time do we have to be back at the ship?

    thanks in advance!

  4. Hi!

First time cruiser with kids, ages 7 and 4. The closest we know to a kids club on vacation is from our all-inclusive Mexican vacations. We are going on Allure Oct 23rd.

Can someone please share how the kids club is structured? Some specific questions: Do we need reservation to drop kids off? What hours is it open? Will my kids need to be in separate groups given their age (i think so but just checking)? Do they feed them? Do they take them off the main kids club location around different parts of the ship? I heard about the adventure dining option for families that have a early dining slot so the kids club will pick up the kids from dinner. Can someone please share more info on how this works? Also, what about safety and security? And generally what kind of activities do they have?

    thank you!

  5. Thank you all! So helpful!!!

We are going on Allure Oct 23-30th. Only 40 people registered on the Meet and Greet/Roll Call forum, hopefully more will register. Would love to connect with those who have kids same age as ours.

So based on everything I read, it seems like there's no draw back to MyTimeDining and I should change to that? I don't care so much about having the same server each day, I want the flexibility to eat whenever. Please let me know if there are any other benefits to set time dining.

Can anyone please share info about the kids club? What ages is it? How safe is it? What hours is it open and what if I want to extend beyond because Hubby and I may see a late show?

Are there music/dance areas for kids to have fun in the evenings? We are experienced Mexico all-inclusive vacationers and kids love the evening shows and being able to dance around.

Would getting an alcohol free pinata colada for my son require a Premium package or will the replenish or refreshment package cover it?

    Thank you!

  6. Hi - I'm hoping I am posting in the right place. I couldn't find a place to post a new thread in the "Allure of the Seas" site section. I have a few questions being this is our first cruise ever. Traveling with 2 kids, ages 4 and 7.

    - Internet Access and Streaming - Can I get the 1 device deal and use it on two different devices as long as not at the same time? Or do I have to get the 2 device place to switch between my iphone and ipad?

    - Drinks - If I don't get any drink packages, are there juices and coffee and tea available at breakfast/dinner? Or literally nothing is available for no extra cost? And what about the water, is it tap water that is filtered? Or better to get bottled water?

    - Cruise is embarking at 4pm. What's the earliest we are able to get to the cruise terminal to board?

    - On the return - cruise is arriving at 6:15am. How late can we get off the ship? What's the latest we can stay?

    - Appalled at all the add ons. For a family of 4 to have option to drink juices and wine, etc - it ends up being around $700 or so. That seems absurd. What am I missing?

    - We are signed up for the 6pm daily dining. One evening that conflicts with a show. What do we do? Can we show up at any time after and just get on a waitlist if we miss our time?

    - We have a regular balcony room. Is room service available for these rooms?

    thank you
