That is awesome! "Go-Bucks!" I am very happy for you. I have 36 months and 29 days, from all of the previous posts on here I am sure it will fly by and drag on...... I am looking forward to taking that around the world cruise myself when I retire. So many things on the bucket list, how do we find time to work?????

For those retired or near retirement, how and why did you pick the date you chose to retire? My hubby and I are retiring in 3 - 5 years and chose a Thursday to retire. That way we don't have to go in on Friday. [emoji16]

I would love to go on a world cruise, but have to wait until I retire 2-2-22..... only 44 1/2 more months............... but who's counting... So I have to settle for 3 shorter cruises booked. Carnival Miracle 7/29; Carnival Liberty 10/28 and Carnival Conquest 2/2/19

My grand daughter made me a construction paper chain and on the 2nd of each month I take a link off. I'm down to 44 links. It is going so fast and so slow all at the same time...... the weekdays go really slow and the weekends go really fast!! lol

I shouldn't have started counting...... I have 46 months and 1 day.......... I have been seeing the 48 day cruise on Holland American out of Fort Lauderdale on Facebook at least once a week and that is the first thing I am going to do when I retire..... Can I book a cruise for Feb 2022 yet? lol

The band from the Epic is moving to the Bliss on April 1st. They are called Siglo also a Beatles tribute band, they are amazing and can sound just like Pink Floyd too. Look for them, I would have spent every night listening to them if I had heard them the first time earlier.....

I am going on the Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas March 16-19. I will be hanging out with my daughter and grand daughters..... or hiding from them...... lol....

All of you cruising NCL solo, I hope you have a wonderful time. Thinking about booking a NCL cruise studio cabin for my next cruise, after the one I have upcoming on Carnival.

No a lady friend and I are traveling together. We intend to drink a little, dance a lot and I may even talk her into some Karaoke, but she says not to count on it..... lol

I'm 55, is that a Senior???? I did just join AARP for discounts (lol). I am jeaous of DallasTexasCrusingFriend and their 17 day cruise on Veendam..... have a blast, with it was me. I am going on Epic 2/24-3/3/18, can't wait.

I'll be there the next week the 24th to the 3rd of March........ we'll be two ships passing in the morning.... lol

Norwegian Epic 2/24/18....... There is a Roll Call of all the singles and couples on the ship and a meet and greet with a slot pull tournament. There is also a facebook group for this sailing. A girl friend and I are traveling together. She is single. I'm just looking for a good time and fun vacation. Come hang out with us, I'm sure we will be Kareoke-ing and drinking and dancing somewhere........

I'll be on the Majesty of the Sea with my daughter and grand daughters on March 16th, will probably need to find someplace to hide. I don't want to be the "responsible" one....... lol
