  1. The + usually refers to the other letters which sometimes go into the acronym eg "I" for intersex. It is a way of politely acknowledging them without forgetting to include one. :)

  2. I echo the thoughts of the other posters but have a question. Have come across LGBT+ but not LGBT-. Would you mind enlightening us.

    LGBT(Q)+ is because if we keep adding initials to the acronym, the banner will have to go up and down, instead of across the street at Pride parades ;)

  3. Hello, all. I have previously travelled extensively on RCCL and HAL, and am considering going to the big leagues for a bucket list cruise. I am wondering how tolerant of same-sex (and to a lesser degree May/December) couples Silversea and its passengers are. We've had no issues on RCCL, and little on HAL. I'm just wondering what to expect on Silversea.

    In case anyone is wondering, Antarctica is the only continent I have yet to visit. Primarily looking at HAL, but thought I could make this a double bucket list adventure.
