  1. We've traveled in suites along with friends who didn't have a suite. They were able to sit in the suite lounge and board with us. They sat with us in the suite section for the shows. They went with us for priority debarkation in ports and at the end of the cruise. We didn't bring them to Cagney's, but it wasn't a big deal to them. We asked our Butler to bring in snacks for when we played cards in our room and when we had a sail into port gathering.

The concierge and the butler rely on getting good tips and will bend over backwards for you. They will do somersaults for an 87 year old MIL

  2. We've done the tours, don't want to go to the beach, what food/drink/shopping things are there to do right around the cruiseport (within reasonable walking distance)?

  3. We plan to take a taxi from the cruiseport to the De Palm Pier access and go to the beach - rent chairs, umbrellas, have some drinks/lunch and then go through the Radisson, get a cab and then back to the cruiseport. Where do we get the chairs/umbrellas? What good beach bars are around there?

  4. When in Aruba we're planning on getting a cab, going to a beach, eating and drinking and then going back to the ship (maybe some shopping along the way). Any suggestions on a gameplan? We're not interested in all inclusives.

  5. Love the idea of a progressive meal, but probably would not make it to the end by the time the restaurants closed. Waiting time would involve alcohol and therefore interfere with the enjoyment of the food. Am thinking about doing this on our cruise - have the UDP and it should work.

  6. We're on the Dawn this Friday and will be in Bermuda 11am Sun morning. We have reservations at Flanagan's in Hamillton for the 1pm Patriots game. The first ferry over is 11:30and and the next 1:30pm. Two questions: Can we buy ferry/bus passes on the Dawn? How much will a taxi to Hamilton cost? Actually, there's a third question: There are 8 of us - are there vans that hold 8 and how much would that cost?

    Thank you for your assistance.

  7. What I found is that if you're sitting with a drink for a while and it gets to that watered down point - you just get another! No worrying about cost - we had it on a 19 day and it was worth every penny...and I never got "drunk". 7 drinks on a cruise day spread out between 10am and midnight or later, including wine with dinner, is pretty easy to do. Never had a problem ordering anything I wanted either.

  8. We're staying at the Embassy Suites Westshore for a couple of days prior to our cruise and I'd like to pick up bug spray, sun tan lotion, etc there, rather than carry on the plane. Are there any grocery or CVS type stores in that area?
