Another person in our group says he is having these people come to his hotel on Easter Sunday :
We are using Beepermd. They are coming to our hotel Sunday morning at 7. Check it could be free. -
I am on the Millenium leaving April 18 and this is what I received:
We're as excited as you are about your upcoming cruise. Take a minute to review your boarding requirements so we all stay healthy at sea. VACCINATION Gather your COVID-19 vaccination documentation to bring to the terminal. GET TESTED Vaccinated Guests: Bring a negative result of an Antigen or PCR COVID-19 test taken within two days of sailing. Unvaccinated guests 2 to 11 years old: Bring a negative result of a PCR test taken within three days of sailing. This test may not be taken on boarding day. -
WE HAD THE AFTERNOON TA-SCONES, CUCUMBER,SANDWICHES ETC on the Millenium on sea days at 4pm. I miss the time it was in the dining room with service, but at last they had this. You have to read your daily very well to find these kind of things!

I was watching for them on the celebrity site- someone said the TA's turn their unsold rooms back in around 60 days out. It was about 60 days out and several FV"s came open. I called and switched my reservation to one of them. (for only 2 of us) There are actually a few still available on our sailing of Apr 18 to Panama canal.
-
You can also use it in the casino.

I booked this offer on the Millenium April 18 to Panama canal for $50. also.

They have had the Extravaganza on all of my cruises- it is listed in the Dailys under the restaurants-you have to look for it! And yes, it is the last sea day lunch. It is worth going to look at even if you don't want to eat. IMO

I confess I haven't looked through all 23 pages, so if this has come up before, please forgive me, but I'm also a Celebrity newbie and have question. We're currently booked in Aqua cabin and have put in a bid for a move up to any of the suites available. I understand that we will keep the promotional package we booked, which is great, but if we do get the suite upgrade bid, do we also get to keep the Blu and Persian Garden access that we originally booked with the Aqua cabin?
No you would get Luminae and would have to buy pass for persian garden

Did not see an answer to this question and really interested, assuming the Indian food is good.
Is this a special request type item?
I do not remember it being in the MDR but it is on the buffet often!

Yes, I just sent in a Best Price Guarantee email and received the OBC in 3 days. On the Celebrity site- go all the way to the bottom of page(in the tiny printing of the page) on the right side, you will find Best price guarantee- click on it and it will give you form to fill out and email back in. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick I got a response!

Just received the email that my bid was not accepted (about 50 hours out from sailaway time). Website was showing over 200 balcony rooms available..☹️
I have heard of people going to guest services as soon as they board and ask if any upgrades. Worth a try.

I got the same thing yesterday for my cruise in 44 days but today got an invite to enter a bid.
Jim, You once posted about amenties and (i forgot the other word) were different on a move-up bid. Can you point me to that or post it here Thanks!

I really love balconies and the FV corner aft is huge! But is the Celebrity Suite worth moving-up to on the Millenium. The retreat is not really a big deal on this ship. Is the butler worth getting a smaller balcony? We don't do alcohol.
-
We have gotten the soft serve in a glass and poured soda in it (coke float) Not quite a milkshake but we like it!

No need to spend any extra money at all! The food on Celebrity, including MDR, is far above all other lines. The entertainment is free and very good. Several other activities free-big screen outside movies on some ships etc. We have done this several times! As someone stated earlier- we do now tip extra to some workers-BUT is not required.
-
Our last cruise we ordered the French onion soup & escargot almost every evening! We loved them both.
-
Which ship would you prefer and why? No kids coming with us. We are 50-60 age range.
-
Looks amazing!

Love your thoughtful and planned gifts! We usually tip an EXTRA $20. per person to wait staff and room attendant. We have on occasion gave an extra amount for exceptional service of help. Also, in our first years of cruising (10 years ago) we did not do this, all we could afford were the original tips.

No Noise…...biggest difference for us. No one talking on loud speaker all day and night. It's not in rooms or on pool deck! Celebrity is a laid back cruise with more older cruisers. The food is a BIG 2nd difference, Celebrity has the best food at sea! If I had children, I would pick princess over Celebrity.
