  1. I am sitting here on Allure of the Seas waiting my turn with the loyalty officer. I am listening to the young man talking to her and saying he was on all these different cruises. His name is not on the reservation but he is saying “oh, I was in the room with that person “. I wonder if she will fall for it.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums[/ You have been on Cruise Critic since 9:30 this morning. Is Allure that boring?

  2. Ocean Cay was also on the itinerary for my January 2018 cruise when I booked it in 2016. Then it was delayed until Oct 2018, then Oct 2019 and now Nov 2019. I don't blame MSC except for being overly optimistic. I am thinking of booking a cruise in December of 2019 but am waiting to get the official word that Ocean Cay is ready for visitors. Bob

Actually, the first time arriving in Ocean Cay, is scheduled to be Nov. 13th.

  3. Ah yeah, but we all know it´s always like this. People will only look at what they want to hear and where they can get someone to confirm their point of view. None of what is said here will change their point of view and they don´t really come here for advice, they just want someone to justify their wrong doings.

    Amen

  4. Yes, I came here for advice. Not a lecture x

Good to know, yet you chose to only accept the advice from the person that gave you instructions of how to remove the tips. You also posted this under the forum of Ask a Cruise Question and ignored all of that advice also. So happy you found 1 person to confirm your theory is right. Hey, what goes around comes around.

  5. Give the guy a break. Sometimes you guys go just a little too far.

I would tend to agree with you, but think about this for a second.

You are sitting on your balcony as your wife gets ready to shower. All is very quiet as you are in port., which is the only time they wash the windows. Hmmm. Did this man not hear anything? Didn't hear the scaffolding? Didn't hear them talking? Most importantly, didn't hear the very loud sound of water hitting the ship? What would be the first thing you would do. I would stand up, go over to the railing to see what was going on and what the noise was. Pretty sure most people would. So:

    A. He wasn't out on the balcony, which is why he never heard any noise, and he saw the men through the open drape window, grabbed his phone or camera and took a picture.

    B. He WAS on the balcony, DID see and hear the men and took a picture.

Great opportunity to complain, right? Get something for free or perhaps OBC.

Keep in mind, he did not mention his wife's ailment until later in the thread, so I tend not even to believe that either, because that would have been an important detail, if not the most important.

If ANY of this is true, a couple of other details. The men are out in the sun. Could they even have seen the woman? They would have to squint and focus to see through the window. Why would a low self esteem woman disrobe in broad daylight in front of an open window? I am assuming she is no spring chicken and neither am I. Just can't picture it.

He does not sound like he is trying to protect his wife. Sounds like he's wants some sort of compensation or much, much more. Cannot stand people that screw the system.

Peeping Tom? Give me a freaking break. A peeping tom is someone that deliberately seeks out their prey. These poor men were just doing their job.

  6. TROLL ALERT!!

I did think this was a site where people helped each other but it seems it has gone the way of Facebook and Twitter. Maybe all you perverts who think it is OK to gawp at your wife when she is getting undressed should get yourselves a camouflage suit and some binoculars. Or better still spout your drivel on Facebook and Twitter as you so find your own kind there.

Last comment on this won't be checking on any replies as you seem to be getting too much perverted pleasure from this and I wonder what you are getting up to while you are writing.

You have just totally proved my point by this statement. Your pride seems more important (IF this story is true) than your wife's self esteem, which was not even "mentioned" until later. If anyone is a troll, it is you. Good luck with that law suit, lol. Perverted pleasure? I think this describes you!

  7. How can a photo with 2 men on a working platform can be evidence for anything ? Or did you stand in the cabin behind your wife and took an photo showing your wife and the 2 men in the same pic ?

Good point, because without the wife in the picture, it is just a picture of two men washing windows. It is also amazing that you had time to get your phone or camera to take the picture. I think my husband by nature would be screaming and yelling, not thinking of grabbing the camera for "proof" for the lawyer.

  8. If I had a self esteem issue, I would not be taking my clothes off in front of an open window. I have received many notices from the ship about window cleaning, which they regularly do on port days. I bet they did send you a notice and you did not read it. How are you going to prove that you did not receive it? You can't. Also, who the hell cares? Why are you so angry over this trivial thing. Who cares? Do you think the window washers got their jollies over seeing your wife. Go hire a lawyer. You don't have a shot in hell. Spend tons of money trying to prove it was intentional. Personally, I think you made this whole thing up or you would have stated your wife's medical condition in your original post, as it is a major issue in your story.

  9. No need to ask. Tipping is a personal decision. Some people will say no. Some will say yes. But the best one is the people who will brag about the amount......So I will start out, and say you should tip $200.00. Let the tip bidding begin.

$200 as an additional TIP? Thats seems sorta high to me.
