How long is the ride from the Naval Yard to Horseshoe?

The ride took us 25-30 minutes via mini bus.

We just sailed on Grandeur in September, we also had my time dining and wanted a table for two. We never made reservations and never had to wait for a table. We always decided what shows we wanted to see that night and then showed up to dinner usually in between shows, so we would catch an early show, have dinner, then go to a late show. It worked out perfectly for us and we loved not being tied to any reservations.

I would recommend going to Horseshoe Bay Beach, take the mini bus parked right at the port - $7 per person each way. The beach is gorgeous!

The Grandeur did have a get together/celebration for vets when we were on her last week.

We were on the same cruise and had a great time! Although it doesn't sound like we enjoyed the food in the main dining room quite as much as you, I will say that we certainly never went to bed hungry!
