Did you notice any extra cleaning do to the Coronavirus issue?  

I guess by the time March comes around all engine issue will be solved.  Sailing from Florida.

The layout of the ship - Loved it.  The boat was rocking, but could not be helped due to the weather.

 

Half Moon Cay - Loved it!  We rented a cabana and everything was perfect...:)  The food at the buffet was outstanding, with no side effects (more on that later).

 

Cabin - The bed were comfortable and it was always clean with fresh ice in the evenings.  The cabin was a little stuffy, so we asked for a fan after the first night and it helped out a lot.  

 

Casino - This is where it started going bad.  The first time ever where I seen that you do not get paid 1000.00 if you hit a royal flush on video poker on SOME of the machines, when you bet 5x.  There were two machines that I accidently found and I am glad that I always look at the payout before I start playing, only paid like 375.00 if you play 5x instead of the usual 1000.00.  This really left a bad taste, as I feel sorry for the people who were playing but didn't look at the pay table.  

The Elite casino host attitude was awful.  Maybe it was my personality and her personality clashed, but she is the only host that I have ever disliked.  I received my fun money and parking fees refunded with no issue.  The drink service was amazing!

 

Food - The food was good at the time that we ate it, but the afterwards were just awful!  I would have thought that I had a stomach flu or something, but I don't think it was that since we both experienced the same thing.  I have never smelled the smell what came out the other end in my life.  I have never experienced this before and I hope I never experience that smell again.  The only thing that I can describe the smell as is raw sewage.  This was through the whole cruise, with the exception of Half Moon Cay.

 

Overall, I don't think that I will ever sell again on the Pride, as the food kind of did me in.  I have already booked another cruise with Carnival....:)

 

Since you was in the casino, how was the smoke issue if any???  My wife and I spend some time in that area.

So only lunch served on embarkment day will be on the Lido desk?

Wondering if on embankment day (on the Pride) is there is an area, like the Alchemy bar location,  that lunch might be served other than the usual places like the buffet or the dinning room?  We have been on other ships where there are less populated areas to get that first lunch when getting on board.

What is a good website to the track cruise ship?  We are staying half-hour away and will drive to port.  Sure don't want to get there and find no ship has arrived. 

Haven't been back in years.  Looking to park at the cruise port at the Pride.  Has anybody done this and if so what is the time that the lot opens for parking?  Also anything to be aware of?

Is the Rock of Ages still playing?  Time to move on.  

Nice room and location for use.  Balcony is so much bigger.  Ask for a lounge chair.  Balcony is angled so to look forward you will need to lean out a bit.  Had this cabin 2 twice now.

That's what I heard as well.  Just need it to keep track of the kids and that they can get one of use.

How does the Carnival Hub work?  Will have family members (kids as well) on this cruise.

Our daughter and family just disembarked from the Breeze today. I asked how the cruise was. She must have gotten the same wait staff in the MDR. Two hours for meals, wrong food delivered, servers were not friendly. They did have a good room attendant.

What dining room did they have and what section? Thinking about sending email as well but sure don't want the same staff.

Hadn't thought of the clubs below....we were over the piano bar I think but that would never have the booming bass that the dance venues may have at peak hours. But the thing is I don't remember ever hearing much of that anywhere on the ship, even walking past, though I can't say that I was ever around (or over) the club areas late at night. But DH (a smoker, loves deck 5) has never mentioned it either and he gets around a lot all during waking hours. So I'm just wondering if they have the clubs extremely well soundproofed...?

 

But generally we now love the aft cabins on most ships that we've tried them on, especially the Dream class ships but on Oasis as well. They've always been really quiet and less busy than other areas that we've had cabins on. I'm sure that you'll be happy with your location.

You should be fine, 6444 is located behind where the wide part of deck 5 narrows so your view will be straight down at the water, not above any crowd activities that may be going on. Last cruise on Magic (same arrangement) we were in the same location but on starboard side where the Sea Day brunches are, but even on sea days it was not noisy for us on our balcony. You should be even better being on the port side.

Go point on the deck below, thanks. Was concerned about the Limelight Lounge below my cabin and then the Dance Floor area in the Ocean Plaza for cabins above. Grand-kids above that section.

I have cruised the breeze twice and it is one of my favorites. I only stayed in deluxe ocean view and this last cruise snagged a 4j cabin at the very front of the ship. The best thing about this cabin was it was the cost of interior (we sailed at peak time so it was still pricey ), but I would book it again. We were on deck 6 and a quick turn off the hallway and thru the double doors, we were outside on our own semi private deck. Awesome views and if you walk one story down , deck 5 was right there and went all the way around the ship. We did not have to take the elevator until we wanted to go up to 9 or 10 because the promenade, casino, etc on the 5th deck. There were hot tubs on both sides of the ship on 5. I really hate the breeze is leaving Galveston because I would like to sail again but we will probably end up flying to cruise her again. I too love the sky course and the open airy feel of the common areas.

We are on desk 6 with other family members near by. It was all we could get. I see you had desk 6 as well. How was the sound from desk 5 below? We have aft 6444.

We are on the Epic for a Dec 11 stop at Harvest Caye. Hoping this will still be on the schedule. First time their if we make it.

Going on Breakaway 1/2020. Already seen Rock or Ages. When will this show be replaced? Don;t need to see again.

Just go down and do the karaoke until its over, and then you go to bed the noise will be over also.

Good idea. If I do karaoke the place will clear out.
