  1. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately the mount gay above is one of their lowest quality dark rums. It runs around $25 dollars.

It bothers me that a luxury cruise line has affixing worse selection then royal Caribbean, which I normally sail. They atleast have Ron Zacapa 23 which is about a $45 dollar bottle.

Also the gosling you have found is made to make dark and stormy drinks. If you like Moscow mules then you should try that!

  2. I still don't get this. I've never been thirsty on a cruise. There is plenty of water on board.

Having said that, yes, my experience has been that plenty of people bring water on board without difficulty.

I only drink the bottled water and the water in the room costs money. Having bottles in the refrigerator at night is really nice to come back to

  3. Being in the right neck of the woods to comment on pirates ruin I suggest instead of Pussers you meander down to Sebastian's which is over the hill from Soper's and arm yourself with a few bottles of Sebastian's Rum from surprisingly Sebastian's Hotel. A most excellent alternative is nowhere else to be found.

Oh and on the poster's topic we always have a bottle of Mount Gay greeting us when we arrive in the suite. Makes us feel at home.

    MM

What Mount Gay variations do they have on board?

Also, it seems that we are able to bring our own liquor, is that correct?

  4. Cockspur is an interesting choice considering the other 2 available choices in Barbados. Personally I'd take the St. Nicholas abbey haha.

Anyway, on RCCL I can find some solero on board so I figured silver being a luxury ship that they would have something also.

  5. I would say more people don't like the smallest ships in the fleet with the short intineries because they attract weekend booze cruise goers.

    But

RCCL is a smart company and they have a cruise ship for just about every type of cruiser. So if you surveyed everyone that cruises, I'd be willing to bet that you'll see that there is no ship that is universally disliked.

Instead of saying worst ship period, you should ask what the worst ship is for a specific travel expectation/ want.

  6. In labadee I just got an over the water cabana booked at barefoot Beach. Does anyone have any pictures of this cabana and is it a good one to have? Should I try to get a beach front instead?

It seems like if I want to get drinks from the bar or bring food from the BBQ I won't be able to because I need to climb a ladder to get in the cabana?

  7. Same here! Just booked the Symphony TA on 28 October from Barcelona. I thought it was a great deal being a brand new ship on its maiden voyage to the US..paid only $2366 including taxes/fees and the Emerald Balcony discount (just me solo in an Oceanview Balcony). My father and his wife booked as well so I'm excited for my first TA! 599 days to go...haha!

I just called and they said that the balconys were starting at like 8k...

  8. We're on FOS in April 2018 and I can't see where to make a reservation for any of the cabana's or bungalows. I went into cruise planner and it shows the Barefoot Beach Cabana's but that they're not available online. We're in a suite, but we're going with a big group and at this point we're the only ones in a suite so barefoot beach will probably no be an option.

Am I missing something? I think I'd like to at least reserve 1 of the bungalows and maybe 2. I'm getting in contact with my friends now.

Is it too early to reserve?

Concierge emails you like 2 weeks b4 the cruise and thats the earliest they take reservations.
