  1. Question of those of you who have been on Windstar before. We were planning to book our excursions on board to use up ship board credit. I'm noticing that the excursions offered to book now online are missing the majority of what was previously offered. Does that mean those excursions are sold out? Or do they hold some places for people to purchase once they get on board? We are leaving in a week so if I need to make other arrangements I should start now. Thanks!

  2. Has anyone bought sunscreen/aloe lotion/bug spray on the island? We can mostly use the other products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) the cruise gives us, so these are really the only things we need to bring in larger amounts. I'm curious if someone has done this and if there is a simple store to buy it from close to the main area, and if it is reasonably priced. I just don't want to assume that I can find it easily and then have to buy it on the ship, so was curious if anyone has does this and has advice. We can check one bag if we need to but if not, I don't want to bother.

    Thanks!

  3. Are there board games on board to use like they have movies/ipods? My husband and I enjoy relaxing with a game in the evening. If yes, any ideas what type of selection they have/ which games? Thanks!

  4. We are going on a 7 day cruise out of St. Maarten. I know that there will be stores there that sell sun screen/aloe sun lotion. My question is it overly expensive to where it is worth putting in a checked bag, or is it reasonable to just buy when we get there? We are thinking of just bringing carry ons so we don't have to check a bag, so it would be helpful to know.

    Thanks!

  5. This is our first time on Windstar and we had a question about shoes on board. I know that gym shoes and flip flops aren't allowed in the lounge/dining hall during dinner. What about nicer sandles, like tevas? Are those still too casual? What do people usually wear? We are trying to figure out if we need to bring a pair of dress shoes for my husband, ballet flats for me or if that will be acceptable to wear the sandles. Thanks!

  6. My husband and I are going on the Classic Carribean Cruise on the WindSurf 3/25-4/1/17. We would really like to do an excursion where you can horse back ride on the beach and in the water. There is nothing offered through WS for this.

I'm curious if anyone has done a similar excursion on St. Lucia, Barbuda, Dominica, St. Barts, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, or Gaudeloupe? We would be open to any suggestions

    Thanks!
