Thanks both. Yes she would prefer a shower but it is doable. To be honest a central location close to lift and restaurants would be good. She may not have to take the wheelchair all the time then....give my arms a break!!!

Thanks for your help. Just called to reserve and 9040 is available Pensioncruiser. So you would recommend this cabin? No noise or vibration or anything? Is the view restricted by lifeboat?

Thanks Pensioncruiser. Mum doesn't really need an adapted cabin, she just finds it a bit tricky to step in and out of a bath!
Yes am looking to book today I think. Canarian Flavours cruise on the 15th December as a pre-christmas treat !

Good morning. Having being bitten by the cruise bug I am now looking to book for a sneaky week in December (why not)!
Please can anyone advise me if the Broadway Show Lounge has wheelchair access? I've looked on Youtube and I can see steps. Also, is the ship pretty easy to navigate with a manual wheelchair......I'll be pushing ?
Any suggestions for a outside plus cabin, with a walk-in shower in a quiet central area will also be much appreciated.
Thanks again

Hi everyone. Back three weeks from my first cruise in Disco2 and loved it! Just booked again for two weeks next May and treated myself to a Junior Suite. Can anyone give me any advice on the best location/number to request. There are only 2 of us and would like a quiet room / sunny balcony if such a room exists :D. Have read previous threads about the overhang so would like to avoid that is possible!
Ta lots

Hi everybody. Just booked my first cruise for Mum and I, next May on the TUI Discover 2. My questions is regarding embarking the ship at Malaga. I have booked special assistance at the airport for Mum, and informed Thomson that we will be bringing a wheelchair onboard but am concerned about boarding at Malaga. Will assistance be provided on the dock to enable her to board. She's not confined to a wheelchair but cannot walk for long and finds steps difficult.
Thanks for your help.
