It does look like you do get a short 1 hour tour in Portofino. Looking at the description, there does not appear to have any sort of guided tour in Santa Margherita, or they left it out of the description.

I am also interested in booking this excursion. So if anyone here has done this one with Virgin Voyages please let us know.

To the OP: the description says that in portofino we we have one hour touring and one hour of free time. In SM its 2 hours. There will be a 90 minute drive to and from SM, so that's probably where we take the ferry.
